Reviews of Wolverine Origins for www.loganfiles.com, by Jesse M. Huertas

Grading Guide:

Better than Life Itself: It must be in your collection for eternity
Definite Read!: A great read from front to finish
Not bad, but not great: A decent read worth the asking price
Well, it’s not the worst: Only for diehards…even then
Where’s my Pistol?: Titles like this make you question your hobby!

Wolverine Origins #2 (May 2006)

Where issue #1 failed to deliver, this offering gives a glimpse to the reader the naughty side of Wolverine and his role in some historic events in the past, as well as the creation of Nuke. This issue perfectly depicted the tone that this story should carry although the colors still aren’t working. Dillon’s work is still manageable, but Logan still looks too clean for comfort. The pacing was excellent and was definitely a much better offering than the severely lackluster issue #1. The final splash page really got the ball rolling and the countdown to next month’s offering has already started!

Rating: Definite Read!
