Might seem a bit lame but yeah I've been mulling this over for quite some time but with the various Wolverine characters who've appeared in the comics but not in the animated series. If you had to pick what type of voice actors would suit them? Teen James Howlett: Probably Dante Basco I had a few other names for other characters but I can't remember them sadly, hopefully you guys'll have better luck and come up with better suggestions

For me there is only one perfect voice for Wolverine - Cal Dodd.
I suppose if it's restricted to people who haven't played him before, then Clint Eastwood is the man.

Cool choices (and I agree whole heartedly with the Cal Dodd line too ) and strangely enough I think that Billy Connolly could do a decent MacLeish (the Scottish bloke who tried to get Logan killed in the "Not Dead Yet" saga)

Great minds think alike as they say, eh? I wonder who'd do a good John Howlett (Logan's bro)? I had a voice in mind but I forgot it

Cathal Dodd will always be the voice of Wolverine for me, just as Patrick Stewart will always be the voice of Professor Xavier.
For John Howlett, Jr. I'd go with Clancy Brown (he'll be voicing Mr. Sinister in Wolverine and the X-Men), and for Romulus Keith David.

Nice choices and yeah I agree that Cal would always be Wolverine (he personified that permanently for me when I was an impressionable 6 year old lol) but as a teenager I think Dante would do a decent job on him, I wonder what Cal's up to I haven't heard anything about him after about 1996 or so? Has he retired or something?

I know he reprised the role of Wolverine for the MARVEL NEMESIS game, but yeah I haven't heard much about him since the end of the X-Men cartoon. It's a shame, the way he delivered lines for Wolvie - impeccable every time.
Any other media that recruits him as the voice raises my interest just that much more. Logan has been played by some great voice actors, but everyone else just seems like they're trying a little too hard, but Dodd just is that character.

Yeah it's creepy when you think about it, like he suddenly dropped out of sight or something

Oh, Lord! My son was an impressionable 6 year old when that cartoon first premiered!
IMDB's last listed credits for Cathal J. Dodd come from Canada in 2006 where he was in a TV series called "Weird Years." He last voiced Wolverine in 2005 for Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects. Also in 2005 he voiced Blackbeard in a couple episodes of something called "Time Warp Trio." And prior to that he voiced Rip Rockefeller in Rescue Heroes: The Movie (2003)

Yeah but anyway, Cal Dodd gets my vote over whoever did Logan's voice in x-men evolution...it just sounded...wrong? is that the right word. no. Wait...yes. Wrong like an imposer. lol

...which makes you a year (and ten days) younger than my younger son! (I'm gettin' older every time I read this thread!) Wolverine "impostor" (I like that!) Scott McNeil provides his voice in Evolution. Speaking of Wolverine impostor, check out what Daken is wearing in Dark Avengers! Hmmmm.... maybe Scott McNeil should voice Daken - he's already got experience as a Wolverine impostor.

Experience as an impostor...lol that's great. But seriously, I don't really think his voice would fit, yes Daken much older than he looks(right?) I just couldn't picture him with that deep a voice. No, Scott McNeil won't do. One more thing, what the heck is Daken doing where THAT?! [Not that he doesn't look good in it] but seriously! Isn't he supposed to be taller than Logan? And would Wolvie just lend his uniform, (I was going to say costume but that just sounded wrong) to him? hmm...so many questions! Arg!

I was afraid of that. It ain't the years, it's the mileage. 'Scuse me while I crumble into dust. Naw, they prefer manga and anime. Go figure. I really can't "hear" Daken in my mind yet. Yeah, he's roughly 50 chronologically but physically he's probably in his late 20's. I think he should sound somewhat like his dad. I feel like they need to emphasize his age somewhat so Daken isn't mistaken for some young punk - he's a trained killer with more experiene than Jack Bauer. Daken may be a younger version of Wolverine, but he's still old enough to be a grandfather himself. I'm guessing it's a copy, not Logan's actual costume. Yes Daken is about 5'-9" and yes the costume might stretch, but would the boots fit? What's not clear to me is why Daken would want to be mistaken for Wolverine? What does he get out of this? Aside from "get revenge on Romulus," what are Daken's motivations?

ahahahh. Crumble into to dust. Wow, feeling a bit dramatic are we? You're silly. I've don't even know what manga or anime is other than a guy I grew up with loves it that's lame, Logan's so much cooler. I don't want daken to be a young punk!!!! Is that even possible to be 'punk-like' with genes from a man like Logan?!?!? Deep man voice yes, just not that guy from X-men evolution... (And I CAN hear Daken in my head. Deep like logan, just without that raspy-ish thing going on?) I am completely at a loss when it comes to that stupid uniform...I really don't know why he's wearing it...tell me if you find out.
