So we've had three X-Men films, which will now be followed by a Wolverine spin off movie. Has the Wolverine portrayed by Hugh Jackman lived up to your expectations!?  Are you happy with the costumes? Or would you have liked to see a more comic book influenced version of the costume i.e. yellow/brown, yellow/blue etc.? Is the Wolverine/Logan in the movie as close as they can get to the comic book version? Personally, I think Hugh has done a good job. I struggle to think of anyone else that I could imagine playing him. He seems to capture the struggles Wolverine faces quite well, and I think he has the relationships down to a tee. As for the costumes, well, it would have been interesting to see a yellow/blue modern version for the movie, but not sure how the mask would look. Mind you, Batman always looked alright with a mask! Overall though, I'm not sure it would have worked as well. I think the black costumes were probably a good move. |

Hugh has done much better then I exspected, and i like how he is pushing for a Wolverine movie and seems to genuinly love the character.
The wolverine uniform needs to be in the movie at some point even if its just for an opening scene, but it must be in the film. I dont car which either, I would like to see them all, I want Wolverine to have flash backs to the original costume(hulk 181) the brown/tan, and the New yellow/blue, oh and teamx and weapon x witht eh helmet and all.
last I heard Wolverine was do out in late 2007, is that still on?

I don't disagree. I still can't think of anyone else now, that I'd like to see playing Logan. And yes, Hugh does seem to really enjoy playing Wolverine - who wouldn't though!!  Some reference to the costume would be good, like you say. Yeah they've pushed the release to 2007 - which I hope means it isn't going to be rushed and turn out to be really dissapointing  |

Should be a good film providing that it is not aimed at younger fans and that it is directed and written by true Wolverine fanatics! I personally think Hugh Jackman makes a great Wolverine (except for being stupidly tall!) and I can't wait to see a real Sabretooth v Wolverine battle!

Yeah, that, and a lack of excessive body hair are my only criticisms of the casting choice (well, it is Hollywood - I suppose they felt they had to "pretty him up" a bit). But Jackman's portrayal has been excellent.

Here is a Plot Outline, but this information could change since the movie is in Pre-production:
A prequel to X-Men. Wolverine lives a mutant life, seeks revenge against Victor Creed (who will later become Sabertooth) for the death of his girlfriend, and ultimately signs up and goes through the mutant Weapon X program.
Movies always change the story from the comics, but i guess that keeps it interesting to us fans that know the comics.
They are supposed to start production in Fall of 2007.
rumored cast members are William Stryker, Sabretoth, Silver Samuria but none of this is confirmed until production starts ;D

Hugh Jackman was perfect for the role, at first i wasn't sure...but after seeing all 3 i think he over acended my expections of Wolverine.

i can't picture anybody else in that role other than him because he is so dedicated to the role of Wolverine..its awesome

I Agree!! Hugh really loves the carechter not just act it..  I really hope that Sabbe (Sabretooth ;D) is in that movie much more better than in the first x-men.. I think that Sabbe was too loose in that.. =) So now he yearns some more action =D (dictionary English ;D) |
