I heard rumors that the 2nd Wolverine movie will be based on the first mini series 4-issues. Hugh Jackman said in an interview that it was his favorite wolverine saga and he was sure that alot fans love that series.
I even heard its going to follow the 4 issue comic book series. I hope it does.

he also said it is going to be the sexiest Wolverine film to date and that his Wife may not agree with it, LOL But Yes, it is going to be about Japan. And I HOPE it really does follow Miller's writings because I hated the last ones writings. This is one of Wolverine's greatest stories and it's a classic one of his best loved stories too so it better be right.

I hope that this time in the Wolverine movie Mariko didn't die like Silver Fox did in the last Wolverine Movie. I hate heroes losing the woman he loved. I hope it ends like in the First Solo Series 4 Issue series. A Wedding picture of Wolverine and Mariko at the end of the movie would fit perfect.

yes I agree that would be a great ending, Also I did see a thumbnail of the upcoming movie promo poster and it looked wonderful. It was done in sepia colors (browns) and was of Logan (Hugh Jackman) dressed in a samurai Armor, standing in the mist like background. I tried to see it bigger but it wouldn't load. So it seems that they will be giving the history at least of how Logan became a great fighter, where it started. Seems also they are leaving out his life history, his hundred years worth of knowledge he has gained in order to learn every fighting art he knows which is almost all of them. THAT part pisses me off because as WE know Logan knew fighting skills WAY before he ever met Marika and he had a first wife way before her too, Daken's mother. So I just KNOW they are going to make this story the start of his Marchall art when it is NOT. that is a pisser. And also too, he met her AFTER he joined the Xmen... they were invited to the wedding, so it seems too they will not be going with that part of the story. Seems they will either re write some or they will go with some other ending combo in one of the other stories. It isn't gonna be a great Miller like Sin City was, which is a pisser!because it should BE!

Has anyone watched the ending of X-men Origin Wolverine where he was in a bar and met a Japanese woman. I think it might Mariko and that maybe how they met.

I don't remember that scene in the movie from the theatre (which ended with Deadpool being alive). Is that from the DVD version?

She was a noble woman I don't think you would find Mariko in a bar, it must have been Yuriko. She was hired to kill Logan but desided to sleep with him instead then she ended up really liking him.

Logan Meet Mariko in the X men, I believe she came to visit her cusin Sun something or another, lol he saw her a mile away in her car and plucked a white mum flower and handed it too her, she was kind of scared at first then she found him very sweet, that's how it started in the comics

You mean Yukio, not Yuriko.
Okay I know it's confusing because the names are so similar and they're both female Japanese warriors. Yuriko Oyama is Lady Deathstrike, the daughter of Lord Dark Wind. Yukio (real name may be Yukiko, since Yukio is a masculine name) is the wild ronin who betrayed Shingen Yashida and joined Logan against him. She's also close to Storm.
So chances are the woman in the bar would be Yukio, as both Mariko and Yuriko are too high-class for Karioke and KiRin beer.

Well I'm still hoping that second movie doesn't end up with Wolverine's love interest dieing. I mean I loved Silver Fox but I hated how she died in the end. I hope Mariko doesn't end up dieing in the movie since the movie is going to be based on the first 4-issue series of Wolverne, right?

well if it did then she won't die till after tht movie, They sure don't seem to be following the comics at all tho they claim they do. yeah right that's why movie wolverine is so wimpy and his animal kean senses, not so kean because they follow the comics so well. BS I didn't like the Silver Fox thing at all, not her name, her so called sister??? wtf was that BS about?  Which comic EVER said Ema Frost was native american woman's sister. what BS. So most likey they will BS their way threw this one too. |
