Written by Jason Aaron, penciled by Renatoe Guedes, cover by Jae Lee, Tron variant by Brandon Peterson. Demonically-possessed Wolverine vs. Colossus. What more do you need?ÊHow about Mystique and the Ghost Riders and Sabretooth and the devil wielding a really big sword, not to mention a shocking appearance by a figure from Logan's past that no one's expecting, least of all Logan himself.ÊAll of this as Wolverine's epic descent into hell rolls on. 40 pages, $3.99.

Issue #2 just came out this week and we just got one unexpected appearance in Hell (no spoiler here, but it just seems wrong to me - she doesn't deserver this!). And at the end we get a preview of an ally - Puck! - coming to Logan's aid, with a shadowy "figure from Logan's past." But if Logan's in Hell fighting everyone he ever sent there (I'm callin' it now) - why should anyone be surprised to see the first man Wolverine ever killed among them?
Jason Aaron writes the Wolverine stories I wanna' read! He's demonstrated a better grasp of the continuity and backstory of Wolverine's supporting cast than any writer I can remember (making more sense of Logan's past than Daniel Way's Origins) and actually uses it to tell excellent stories. This guy went from winning a Wolverine fan contest to driving the Wolverine "flagship" (and he does it like Captain Kirk). And Renatoe Guedes' artwork is first-class - he could draw Wolverine fighting gummi bears and it'd look fantastic! I don't care what else Marvel asks them to do, but please, don't take them off Wolverine during my lifetime!
