X-out the founder (Xavier), his arch-enemy (Magneto), an original (Beast), two telepaths (Xavier, Emma), three of Wolverine's newly revealed "distant relatives" (Sabretooth, Wild Child, Wolfsbane). Those picks are going to start to define the shape of the X-team we're left with since we want a workable balance of powers and ideally no more than 7-10 members. Factors to consider include a reasonable gender-balance, and teams usully include a leader, one telepath, one flier, at least one original X-Man (and Wolverine). Note: these are only general considerations for casting an X-team. Another consideration is the pre-existing relationships and potential personal conflicts among members.
