Better than Life Itself: It must be in your collection for eternity
Definite Read!: A great read from front to finish
Not bad, but not great: A decent read worth the asking price
Well, it’s not the worst: Only for diehards…even then
Where’s my Pistol?: Titles like this make you question your hobby!
REVIEW: So finally they face off, Wolverine and 'Daken'. The story this month is just straight action. Wolverine breaks into a bank where the C-Synthesizer is held and his 'offspring' crashes the party. He takes off his clothes and reveals his 'kewl' tatooes and takes on Wolverine. Amazingly Wolverine is now to slow to even land a hit on this guy, sure he can play tag with Spider-Man, Nightcrawler, Daredevil and a host of speedy fighters, but not Daken. This is what friends refer to as 'Plot Induced Stupidity' or PIS for short.
So something happens where Daken talks to himself about being in control, Wolverine takes advantage, tries to lunge at him and then Daken slashes his throat open clean. The battle is over with Wolverine realizing that Daken is superior and then the fight is interrupted with Cyber crashing the beautiful father/son reunion looking for junior.
That's about it, again another issue that has not a dang thing to do with any Wolverine history or whatever, just another run of the mill Dan Way jibberish. Solicits say that issue #15 is where everything starts to come together. It only took 20 months, so I guess that's progress, but Way has left so many plot threads opened, I highly doubt they'll all get covered in any decent manner. Hell, Jubilee has a gaping hole in her and Wolverine has already forgotten I guess. *sigh* Anyways, please save your three bucks again, it's really a tough period to be a Wolvie fan with this junk out, and all that uninspired, and unoriginal evolution crap happening in the real Wolvie solo. Better days are sure to come
