Hey Cyber fans, guess who is going to be showing up in Wolverine Origins very soon, no not SunShine bear, its CYBER!
I cant wait to see how they show his resurection and what he does after that, i think Cyber could be a awesome charater if they planned on writting him right.
My guess is they are going to show that he was a Weapon Plus project too.

WHaaaaaat?!!!
THe organic components of Cyber were eaten to nothing by mutant beetles and his adamantiom skin was used by Genesis in a failed attempt to re-bond it to Logan's bones. In other words - there's absolutely no way he can be alive! There's nothing left of him! As much as I like the character, this is going to take some serious explaining! (Time-travel? A clone?)

And lets not forget that Wolvie meet Cyber in the afterlife in issue #176, I think. So its not a matter of IF he died its HOW did he come back. OR because of Cybers healing factor did he slowly regrow from the one cell that was left and now all these years later hes full again ;D I truely hope not

The "HOW" of Cyber's return will take some explaining!
I'd assumed Cyber's healing factor was less efficient than Wolverine's because when Logan poked Cyber's eye out he had it replaced with a bionic eye (whereas Logan has regrown an eye at least twice).
Even a Cyber regenerated from a single cell (basically cloning) would still lack the stolen adamantium skin - unless someone gives him a new one.
Cyber's an interesting character - the only enemy Logan really feared - and I was hoping Way would include him in a flashback to WWI. But resurrecting a character who was so definitively killed and reduced to nothing?
Now Way has two issues to resolve in the coming arc: How is Cyber alive? - and - If Logan's son hates him so much, why has he waited 50 years to do anything about it?

This is so lame, it should have been much better to see how evil sonofagun he was during the early years. You can't get much dead after what Genesis did to him. I'm thinking a Nuke type of resurrection, all mechanics (also lame) and just his mind. Oh so painful this book. I always had I thought a story in mind regarding Cyber, but it'll never happen now, thanks Way.

I'm glad you all like cyber but I am tired of characters coming back marvel is starting to turn into DC and they have had to restart their universe twice now because of stuff like this
just stay dead especially when the character has already been seen as "dead"

Excellent news! I'm so glad Cyber is back. I agree with what you're saying hcbrewer, but Cyber was so underused and underated, he deserves this resurrection.

WTF Way. Why dont you try selling your pile on good writing instead of nostalgia. I can't wait to see what a clusterf**k this is.

What more of Cyber's origin will we get that we don't already know? Judging from all the other empty solicitations I'll hold reserves on what this 'reveal' is.

Presumably a ret-conned connection to "Them" and the manipulation of Wolverine. Possibly more on Wolverine's relationship with "Janet" before he killed her. Hopefully some really top-notch explanation for how Cyber is even alive!

I went through old Cyber stories so we know that he was Wolvie's commanding officer in WWI, and the fight went down, he beat up on Wolverine etc etc then his life is a mystery, like his adamantium grafting. This is what I wrote in a thread on Newsarama that reflect what you said...
I guess it'll make sense, but like you I just wanna know how this guy is even alive, if I remember correctly he is a very very very low level telepath that can track brain patterns...did this keep him alive 'in spirit' and allowed him to locate a weak mind (Milo) and will allow him to possess Milo next issue?
