I've been noticing a few canonical errors in Loeb's Wolverine story arc lately. The first was Sabretooth's hand being cut off by Logan when he has an adamantium skeleton (a second one given to him by Weapon X after Apoc ripped his out and gave it to Logan) and now, at the end of the new one, The appearance of Thorn and Feral fully mutated when the two are supposed to be depowered from M-Day. Any Comment on this?

I have a question that has driven me bug-nutty for a year now. Whenever a question is asked about the possibility of Wolverine or Spider-Man appearing in a MAX book, the answer is always the same: the "name" characters are "like crack for kids" and we don't want to put them in a story that would be inappropriate or damaging to young minds. If Jessica Jones wants to meet Spidey, Alias has to become The Pulse.

What, then, is the deal with Marvel Zombies - page after page of "name" heroes' animated corpses with flesh rotting off of their exposed bones, tearing into people with their teeth? Did I really see a statue of Spider-Zombie holding the body of his wife with a huge gash in her neck?? I'm a grown man, and that's profoundly disturbing. What's the official explanation for this apparent contradiction?

I think Wolverine could be a MAX book eaily and really is more suited for him, but they should never stop his regular Marvel U books and appearances. Punisher has both Wolverine could too. Wolverine could finally gut someone YES!!!

So, in Joe Q.'s world "coarse" language and the nude human body would warp a "child's" mind (what IS the average age of a Wolverine reader these days?) but an undead Spidey immortalized in the act of devouring his wife's corpse is just "good, clean entertainment? Does this make sense?

Wolverine is ideally suited to be the flagship Max title. He never played by the rules. No "code against killing." He does whatever it takes. It's what made him appealing in the first place. He was never meant as an outstanding example to "little Jonny" in elementary school of how to be a model citizen. He broke the "hero" mold. He's a monster dragging himself through a century-long nightmare of endless violence and pain and loss and the most heroic thing he does is hold to his own idea of right and wrong. Even if that means maiming Nitro and Sliver Samurai, or killing 52,000 Hydra agents, Hand ninjas and Dawn-of-the-White-Light cultists because they killed one innocent nine-year-old boy because of him and he just couldn't live with that.

Yes, I think Wolverine should be a MAX title. I think the upcoming Wolverine move should carry a hard R-rating for graphic violence the likes of which even GOD has never seen! I think he oughtta' have a weekly series on HBO where they can ignore censorship because it's the only way to really do the concept justice!
