Last chance if you want to read it first...
(and really, it's a pretty major point, so you might want to read it in it's original form)...
After a slow-paced start, Way finally connects some dots and spells it out. It's not a coincidence, and it's not a curse. It's a "control mechanism." Cyber let Logan in on the secret: "They were all part of the program - - all of the women from your past. You think it's a coincidence that they all died? ... Every time one of your women was killed it was either to shut you up - - or to set you off. And the order always came from the very top."
The conspiracy goes at least as far back as Logan's involvement in the Devil's Brigade in WWI - the beginning of Wolverine's formal training under Cyber.
Cyber was brought in by Victor Creed - both taking orders from someone named "Hudson" (who wasn't the leader, but who is probably related to James MacDonald Hudson).
"Janet" was part of "the program."
It seems likely that Silver Fox was too.
Possibly Itzu - knowingly or not they used her to bear Daken.
Mariko? - still unknown.
Daken knows who's behind it all.
Wild Child is involved, and may be Daken's "handler."
James (& possibly Heather) Hudson looks suspicious.

Did they say how long Cyber had before the inplant kills him? Think he'll make another return before or after he dies again? And how did a mortal have the power to posses another mortal body anyway? Sorry for the negativity, I'm not sure I like Wolverine origins yet.

The retcon of Cyber's power (body posession instead of a healing factor) which Way utilized to explain his resurrection is just that - a retcon. And it's not well explained. It doesn't explain how any body without a healing factor can survive the adamantium bondingprocess and subsequently fight off adamantium poisoning. Cyber's body is dying because he possessed a guy with a bad heart - nothing to do with the adamantium. In issue #15 he gets an external artificial pacemaker made of carbonadium which should keep him going long enough for Way to make use of him again.

I gotta agree with Epitaph!!! The pace is too slow and I hate Dillon's art! Nothing really happens in this series, it's like the Seinfeld of wolverine comics.

Seinfeld is a show i highly enjoy, i wouldn't compare Origins to Seinfeld...Origins is more like The Price Is Right...fun at first but gets old really quick
