The new chart indicates a small cut into Marvel's advantage in both market share categories, which as of this month's update are now being referred to by Diamond as "Retail" (formerly dollar) and "Quantity" (formerly unit). Marvel led both the Quantity and Retail categories with 45.61% and 41.39% share, respectively. DC garnered 35.46% and 31.88%, respectively.
