Nice find!
Interesting that Marvel is finally comfortable enough with Wolverine to tell this kind of story. I remember a time when Marvel deliberately separated Wolverine from Jubilee because they were afraid that casting Logan in the role of "babysitter" was too "emasculating." I've always disagreed with that reasoning. To me, the whole "paternal" aspect to Wolverine is something that both deepened his character and emphasized the age difference between Logan and the other X-Men.

Jeah, I think that too.. It's just good that Wolverine's character deepens little (? ;D) Make him just a killing machine, and readers beat you up. It wouldn't be wery interesting to read about nothing else than massacares..

I really hope this is good. Both Wolverine books suck so much at the minute that one good Wolverine title for 2008 is a must.
I'd much rather the book but set in the present, but with ominous signs looming for Kitty this may have been the only way it could be done. So setting during this during the best creative period in X-Men history - nice move.
A world where Sabretooth and Alpha Flight aren't killed so lousy writers can make an 'impact' is one I am definately interested in. It will be good to see Mariko once more, especially before the engagment stage with Logan.
The title is atrocious, and thirteen-year-old Kitty has huge breasts on that cover, but that's worth it if we get the classic Wolverine back.

Issue #2 and Wolverine has switch into his Byrne costume now if the cover is any way to judge. Also if the cover reflects what's inside the book then they got Sabretooth's costume wrong as he wasn't wearing the Jim Lee look by that stage. Meh, doesn't really make a difference to me as long as they tell a good story - and I have to say, this one sounds like a cracker!
Between LOGAN, WOLVERINE: FIRST CLASS, and Jason Aaron's WOLVERINE - it looks like another amazing month for Wolverine. I haven't been this excited for Wolverine comics in years. He's also going to be in AMAZING SPIDER-MAN.
