Stephen Segovia is the new artist n the book. Seems good, but not good enough for me to start reading this book again.

(In accordance with my tip ) Mike Deadato Jr. has been confirmed as the new regular Wolverine: Origins artist. He draws an awesome Wolverine.

Actually, the conclusion of the last arc wasn't bad - although you had to sit through a four-issue fight scene between Wolverine and Deadpool to get there. Turns out Logan was behind the whole thing - he had Bucky dress as a SHIELD agent and hire Deadpool to kill him - all to luir Daken out. Bucky shot Daken and now Wolverine has taken his son prisoner. We could finally be seeing some real progress in the next arc. Maybe with a new artist (who doesn't draw everyone looking like Lurch) it'll become readable again.
Oh, and the previous arc - the Capt. America flashback - was pretty good (if you can ignore the impossible continuity problems regarding sequence of events).

Nice twist in the 'Pool arc! That it was a five issue arc however shows the real problem with the pacing - could it conceivably have been done in one issue? And here's some of Mike's older Wolverine works: And my personal favourite:
