------------------------Question?----------------------- Hi!!!!! You're site is great and been the most helpful that I have found. I am currently trying to make a database for a friend of mine who has just recently gotten back into collecting comics. I am having some confusion. I understand there is Wolverine Vol 1 and now Vol 2. As for the "Marvel presents WOlverine", was there a seperate set of comics just for that or are there just some WOlverine comics mixed into the Marvel Presents? Does that make any sense? It no longer does to me. I would appreciate any help that you could give me. Thanks, Cary ------------------------Answer-----------------------Lets see if I can clear this up. Marvel Comics Presents 1-175 is a complete seperate comic that just happen to have Wolverine in it most of the time. Wolverine Vol.1 is considered to be Wolverine 1-4 limited series Wolverine Vol.2 is considered to be Wolverine 1-189 Wolverine Vol.3 is considered to be the current Wolverine series and is 1-43 right now I hope this clears things up, later and thanks for your interest -Mark Caringer www.LoganFiles.com

One of these days I'm going to have to inventory my "archives." Any gaps between Claremont's 1st issue of Wolverine's mini-series (Vol. 1) and the current issue (Vol 3, #56) are a result of a burglary in the mid-1980's. I think I also have most of the MCP issues that included Wolverine, and all the graphic novels except the Nick Fury team-up (Scorpio?).
I used to try to buy every title Wolverine appeared in just to keep track of his continuity. Eventually I came to realize that many of those were pretty crappy stories (blatant attempts to boost sales, often in new titles I wouldn't otherwise read) that added nothing to Wolverine. Since then I've gotten pretty selective about which non-X-Men appearances I buy.

I actually created an Excel Database of my entire comic collection. I have all the volumes talked about above “to current” with many variants. I also have an extensive collection of Wolverine appearances, thanks to Mark's list on this site - with some that weren't on the list as well.
I'm going to send the Excel file to Mark via e-mail since I couldn't find a way to Post it. Mark please post the file for all our Logan Pals to modify and use for themselves. I'm sure it's very similar to the comic collecting programs out there but hey, this is free. Enjoy!
Stay tuned for the file. (with Mark's expert assistance!)
