Wolverine Gay, Coming-Out Coming, says Marvel Editor
"An editorial source at Marvel Comics who requested anonymity has confirmed a shocking new development in the life of one of the company’s most popular characters, confirming the truth of several recent internet rumors: Wolverine is homosexual.
According to ComixFan’s source, Marvel will drop the bombshell this July in Wolverine #67, the second part of the “Old Man Logan” arc. After the revelation and transition, Wolverine will become Marvel's highest profile homosexual character, and perhaps the highest profile homosexual character in comic books.
“A lot of the fans have figured out what we’ve been leading up to for a while, ever since the new Batwoman character debuted at DC,” said the Marvel editor. “Although most of the rumors I’ve seen have hinted at a ‘coming out’ in Wolverine #75, we weren’t willing to wait that long to move this character forward.
According to Marvel, Wolverine #67 will feature an elder Wolverine admitting his feelings to several of his old teammates. Any repercussions this may have on modern continuity have not yet been revealed.
Wolverine #67 will be released this July, and will feature a chrome cover to commemorate its historic revelation."
