Marvel and Del Rey Manga announced writer Anthony Johnston and artist Wilson Tortosa as the creative team for the upcoming Wolverine manga.
The manga chronicles the history of Wolverine. Logan, a rebellious teen training in a remote school in the Canadian wilderness, has no memory of his life prior to being found in the forest near the school. But that forgotten life is about to come after him with a vengeance in this shônen thriller.
An X-Men manga will be illustrated by Indonesian artist Anzu and written by the husband and wife team of Raina Telgemeier and Dave Roman.
Both are scheduled for a spring 2009 release.

"rebellious teen" - sigh.
How did the gruff little mountain man from Claremont and Byrne's X-Men turn into something from Dawson's Creek?
Sounds like crap.
