Is it just me or does anyone else think that Wolverine and Psylocke could make a good couple?!
I mean two of them are the most popular X-men characters. Also the two of them were a good team together and a pretty good match together.
They also share a strong mutual respect for each other.
What do you think?

Yeah, especially back in the late 1980's when Betsy got all ninja-fied I saw some potential there. Even pre-Kwannon Psylocke had a Wolverine connection - he got her that pink body armour from Landau, Luckman and Lake. But afterward, after she stuck her psychic knife in his head as Lady Mandarin, they began sharing thoughts. Once she broke free of the brain-washing Logan was the first to trust and accept her as the real Betsy. After Sabretooth gutted her (the way he'd treat any of "Logan's women") they both had a reason to hate him. He helped her get her Crimson Dawn powers. And for her part Psylocke never much objected to the way Wolverine deals with things. He saw her as a peer, a comrade and a respected friend and toasted her memory when he thougt she was dead. Even though there was never a romantic connection between them and she was involved with Warren (complet opposite of Wolverine) Worthington, I still thought of Psylocke as one of the first characters Logan would have chosen if he was assembling his own "X--Force" style team.
One last thought: Rina "Wild Thing" Logan from the M2 universe - she inherited her healing factor and her temper from dad, and he psychic sai "claws" from her mom... execpt Electra never had psychic sais - just the regular metal kind. So who would she inherit pink psychic weapons from (did her real mother have a psychic knife)?

Wolverine and psylocke would be a fun couple and im sure they would have some pretty cool adventures. They need to bring psylocke back to the A teams.

I've always thought Wolverine and Pyslocke would make a good couple. Ever since I first saw Pyslocke the ninja version I thought for sure that she will mak a good love interest of Wolverine. Another they have in common is that they had loved lives but ended up alone. Like Wolverine flirted with Jean, Pyslocke once flirted with Cyclops. Pyslocke is almost like the female version of Wolverine in popularity.

Nah not as a couple. Plus Psylocke seems to like the pretty boys - Cyke, Warren, the third Thunderbird. Though then again I think Claremont's doing something with Betsy and AOA Sabretooth in Exiles so who knows. Personally, I've never seen them as anything more than good friends.

You never know about what happens in the comic. Well, except for the ones that you read and then estimate what will happen from the characterization that characters undergo from said comics. Claremont has played around with the idea of inter-team romances many times, has he ever done this for Logan and Psylocke - I can't recall any [...awaits post from Megalictis that details many various accounts of this ] Also I forgot to add earlier that no way is Betsy the female equivelant to Wolverine in terms of popularity, fan-favourite though she may be! I don't know if any female comic book character could math Wolverine popularity wise - probably only Buffy can outsell Logan. Is there anyone I missed?

Pyslocke stated to Wolverine that her Psi-Knives are as deadly as his Adamantium Claws. Equally matched between their abilities.
Despite that Besty was/is British she more knows the ways of the Japanese Ninja. Just like Logan who knows the ways of a Japanese Samurai, despite that he's Canadian.
Make sense, huh? Logans a Samurai and Besty is Ninja.
Matches them pretty well.
Plus they both have a connection to each other and a deep respect for each other, even though its not love. Also they both have the share the hatred of Sabertooth.
I also heard that Wolverine is one of Pyslocke best friend in the X-men team. I think they could make one of the best couples in marvel comics.
Pyslocke was also the first Marvel girl to make an appearance as playable character in "Marvel Super Heroes" the first fighting game.

"Plus they both have a connection to each other and a deep respect for each other, even though its not love."
Bingo! I'd say there's nothing sexual about the relationship, 'part from maybe Logan taking a peek at Betsy when her main contribution to the plot was showering every issue when Jim lee was on the book. Personal opinion of course.

Well, I'm simply saying it possible that Logan and Besty could (I mean "could" not "would") become more than friends. Not by "sexual love", but "feelings of love" for each other. I know you might disagree with me, but thats only my opinion.

Nope. Not this time. I don't even remember a single kiss. Kind'a begs the question why? He certainly has a history of attraction to Asian women. (And red-heads. Maybe if she dyed her hair red instead of "anime purple"...) My take on it is that she's not attracted to him and he knows it, so he never pushed the matter. And she and Warren were together for a good part of their history on the team.
That was explained-off as Kwannon's personality somehow asserting itself. And those telepaths just seem to have a thing for ol' "One Eye." In terms of popularity I'd say Rogue is the most popular, based on the ampount of discussion she gets on various comic book boards. But none can compare to Wolverine - the only X-Man ever to sustain a successful solo series. Heck, the next most successful X-character based on that criterium is probably Mystique. Psylocke never even got a mini-series.
She's a high-class rich girl, and both she and Warren have Hellfire Club memberships. On the other hand even Emma Frost admits Logan cleans up real good.
As long as she's in Exiles it kind'a takes her out of play. And as long as Claremont's on Exiles I'm betting she'll stay there.
In my opinion, if the X-Men were to split between Wolverine and Cyclops, Logan would take Nightcrawler (best buddy), Storm (no one he'd rather have at his back), Colossus (somebody's gotta' mix up those "fastball specials"), Psylocke, Kitty (except she's off the table for the forseeable future), and maybe Rogue and Armor.
I'd be happy to see how that plays out. Start 'em off as partners for an extended mission and see where it leads. They seem pretty compatable. So much so that I can't think of any serious points of conflict that could arise between them... at least until Jean comes back to life again.

I know you might disagree with me, but thats only my opinion. Yeah, no problem. I've been trying to avoid sounding hostile through the scattered use of 'my opinion' and whatnot; I'm only trying to voice my opinion too.

I've always wanted Wolverine to end up with Psylocke, in the end. Wolverine and Psylocke are perfect for each other. Warriors, both. They both have weaponry that extends from their hands. Plus, they complement each other. He's a wild and brute beast, while she's a centered and graceful beauty. Psylocke is an amalgamtion of all the East-Asian women he's been with, and Jean Grey, whom Wolverine found attractive because she reminded him of Rose, his first love. Plus, I would love it if they retcon it where Psylocke is the mother of Wild Thing, instead of Elektra. I know Psylocke was her godmother, but Rina's powers were the perfect cross between Wolverine and Psylocke's powers. I mean, come on, look. Don't they make the perfect couple?

not sure I like them as a couple, but then again she already died once they are thinking of bringing her back again bla bla.... I don't think it's even possible that she has the fighting skills he does but she may be just as good as him in what she does have and in that respect they may be evenly matched. Even so, that doesn't make them lovers. She might be able to take him on but could she go the distance? A guy like Logan would require a very understanding non controlling woman who is willing to be barked at and growled at and understand it may NOT always be his fault. Most Woman don't have what it takes to hang with a guy who is as introverted and non verbal as Logan can be. he has trauma drama going on, She would have to deal with all that and then some. Not to mention his animal side, the hunting and eating on the hoof... most gals are going to cringe at that. Personally I feel Storm is much better suited to deal with a guy like Logan, or someone like her.
