Thought I'd post what Stuart Moore, the writer of the mini said in response to a question I asked about whether the series would be set in the normal continuity or if there was any changes to Logan's character: the Logan timeline did occur to me -- of all the Noir books, this one could take place within regular continuity. But the line has a common background and some ground rules that would make that impossible. The weird thing is that Logan is just Logan to me, no matter what setting you put him in. I think that's why he's such a durable character. Also he posted this recently too: I'm just finishing up a WOLVERINE script that might be the best thing I've written. That one hasn't been announced, either. I'm delighted - dude writes a fantastic Wolverine. If he was the regular writer on WOLVERINE I'd start picking it up again.

Just picked up the issue. It has a 1930s style, because the time in which the story takes place is actually on the first page. This is the very first Noir Comic book I ever read. And Logan, well read it and find out. I'll give you a hint, Adamantium didn't exist back then, however, there are some things that were a little weird.
1. This this actually a different universe than the 616-main stream, because if so, the story does make sense.
2. In the 1930s, Logan actually has a set of bone claws.
3. Dog is very much alive in this (Noir universe).
