As far as the title goes I think "Yet Another Wolverine Title" would have fit it best. What sets this book apart from "Wolverine?" If they're going to call it "Wolverine: Weapon X" then it should be a retro series that tells the story of Wolverine when he worked with the Hudsons before the X-Men.
It's an odd move in a down economy for Marvel to try to push two Wolverine solo titles that have essentially the same premise - "stant-alone" Wolverine adventures apart from the X-Men... and the Avengers... and Kitty (and Power Pack!!!). They might find the two titles splitting the audience of the first (or drawing off other sources) rarher than increasing overall sales.
Other than that, if Aaron and Garney write good Wolverine stories every month then Marvel is going to end up with more of my money.

As far as the title goes I think "Yet Another Wolverine Title" would have fit it best.I prefer Sniktety Snikt!: Here Comes The Stabbin’ . Four titles is overkill, and I'm not sure but I think this may be one of the $3.99 titles. Saying that though, this is likely going to be the only title that I'm going to pick up for most of next year - the main book is directionless as ever, W:FC is changing writers, W:O is written by Way, while W:WX has Garney and Maverick working in it's favour.

I think both will last as long as they are profitable, W:FC has a bigger chance of being cancelled I think simply because of what happened to X-MEN: FIRST CLASS.
As for the other Wolverine books - WOLVERINE: ORIGINS is going to end at around #60, and there's speculation (that I completely missed until today) that WOLVERINE will become something other than a pure Wolverine book.

I still think "Wolverine: Weapon X" is a poor title choice for a book intended to avoid too much reference to the past. Yet the first arc does refer to Weapon X and Maverick is suposed to be an ongoing supporting character. It isn' t clear how this title will stand apart from "Wolverine," but apparently Marvel is less worried about creating a distinct niche for the title than they are about seeing if the market will support another Wolverine solo title. Aaron's stated intent is to "introducing new characters to Wolvie's world."
As for the other titles, I think the best indication of if (and how long) they'll last will be the ongoing sales figures for each. I'm not sure if Wolverine: First Class was meant to be an ongoing series of if it was always intended for a limited run. Way originally said he had about five years worth of stories mapped-out for "Origins" (hence the "60 issues") but it's not clear to me if he's still following his original plan or if tie-ins to "Wolverine" (the Romulus revelation) and "X-Men Legacy" have lengthened or shortened that original course.
To give you a benchmark "Secret Invasion" #7 sold 154,656 copies and was the top-selling US comic book for October (the last month available).
New Avengers - consistently over 100,000 until #46 (99,501 - the fifth highest selling comic for October). Astonishing X-Men - #46 sold 86,759 copies, ranked 7th for October. Uncanny X-Men - 80-100,000 is typical (#503 ranked 9th in sales at 81,064 copies). Astonishing X-Men Ghost Boxes - #1 sold 69,601 copies (16th in October). Wolverine - variable but not below 60,000, currently upper 80,000's (#66 sold over 100,000). X-Men: Legacy - declining from upper 80,000's to mid 60,000's. X-Force - premiered at 120,657, now down to lower 60,000's (#8 sold 59,738, coming in 29th). Wolverine: Origins - #29 ranked 30th in October at 58,834, but fell from lower 60.000's to mid 40'000's over the last year (dropped 53.9% in two years). Wolverine: Manifest Destiny #1 - sold 40,137 (ranked 67th for October). Wolverine Annual #2 - 30,451 (ranked 76th for September). Wolverine Saudade sold 26,693 copies (ranked 92nd for September). Wolverine: First Class - started at 35,695, but crashing to 14,934 for October's 156th ranking.
As a general rule, titles that sell consistently in the 20,000's and below and see declining sales get cancelled. "First Class" looks like a goner unless Marvel expects to sell lots of copies in TPB format.

From what I've heard, Marvel doesn't worry so much about the First Class or Marvel Adventures sales in specialist comic book areas since those books do very well outside normal comic book retail outlets. Could be wrong though.

After reading the Marvel Comics Solicitations for April 2009:
Wolverine: Weapon X #1
Written by Jason Aaron, pencils and cover by Ron Garney, variant cover by Adam Kubert.
"The Adamantium Men," part 1 of 5. In the jungles of Colombia, people are turning up dead, whole villages brutally slaughtered by a team of soldiers who move through the shadows like ghosts. On the streets of San Francisco, Logan learns that the files from the old Weapon X program, the blueprints for building Adamantium-laced super soldiers like himself, have fallen into the hands of the evil corporation, Roxxon. Once again, it seems, someone is looking to build the perfect killing machine. That means it's time for Wolverine to step in, and remind them that someone already did. Plus 8 pages of Director's Cut Extras!
40 pages, $3.99. in stores on April 01, 2009

Just read the issue. Good read. However, it seemed a fast read. Otherwise I enjoyed the issue.
