Wolverine: Timeline

1946: Daken is born in Jasmine Falls
1955: Daken’s mutant powers first manifest and Daken meets Romulus
1959: Daken arrives at a training facility, and is trained under a man known as Mr. Burr.

1974: Wolverine fought the Hulk

1975: Wolverine gets added as a team player to for the X-Men
Why, his mission is the kill the one known as Professor X.

2003:

2004: Wolverine meets the Native (an experiment of Weapon X)

2005: Wolverine vs. the Marvel Universe

2006: Logan remembers everything.

2007: Wolverine kills Sabretooth (finally)

2008: Daken reveals himself to his father.

2009: It's Wolverine vs. Daken vs. Romulus

The reason this timeline doesn't work for the birth of Daken is that it doesn't take into account:
1) While still enlisted in the army in WWII, Logan was at Hiroshima Japan on 6 August, 1945.
2) After WWII Logan took up study with Ogun (who had been engaged as a Japanese officer prior to the end of the war).
3) Logan meets Itzu at Jasmine Falls after leaving Ogun. He marries her after 4 years, and she was then carrying his child (Daken).
4) James "Bucky" Barnes was Capt. America's sidekick during WWII. He lost an arrm in a plane crash and was presumed dead. The Soviets found him, brainwashed him into becoming their assassin, gave him a bionic arm, and placed him in suspended animation until they needed him. He became known as Winter Soldier. Even if killing Itzu was his first mission, it's still a stretch to place it that soon after WWII.
5) An offhand reference in the restroom at the Hellfire Club in Morrison's X-Men run places Wolverine in Arnhemland, Australia in 1946.
