This issue draws a direct connection between Wolverine: Origins and the current Wolverine arc.
Madripoor Police Chief Tai appears in this issue... which is unusual since his scenes are set in the present. Tai was killed by Tyger Tiger (mowed down with her car) in Wolverine #98, back in 1996. Marvel's own website lists him as dead!

In Chapter 2 flashbacks to "Patch" and Seraph in Madripoor are set in 1932, yet in Logan's narration on the first page of the chapter Logan says he hooked up with her there prior to World War One. This is likely a mistake since Logan was born in 1897 and was likely at least 18 when he left the quarry after Rose died in Origin (which would be 1915). WWI began in Summer of 1914. Also, Logan's "Patch" identity was adopted only after being mutilated by Cyber during or after the War. And Marvel's website above states that he made Madripoor his base of operations during the 30's and early 40's.
