Hugh Jackman, producer and star of X-Men Origins: Wolverine, began the U.S. promotions for the film on Tuesday by leaving his handprints and footprints in cement at Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood. "It's an honor I'll never forget," said Jackman, who was accompanied by his wife and two children. "Thank you all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart." Jackman also noted he was just a couple of blocks away from one of his other dreams, where he hosted the Academy Award. Jay Leno from NBC's The Tonight Show emceed the ceremonies; Jackman was scheduled to appear on The Tonight Show on Tuesday. Among those attending the ceremonies were Brett Ratner, Jackman's director in X-Men: The Last Stand, and Avi Arad, former head of Marvel Studios. Click on the thumbnails for larger images. In other X-Men Origins: Wolverine news: * Jackman, Liev Schreiber, Ryan Reynolds, Will.i.am, Taylor Kitsch, Lynn Collins and director Gavin Hood are expected to be in Tempe, Ariz., on Monday for the premiere event. Tempe was the winner of the Hometown Premiere contest.
