LOLOL Frankly I saw this coming a LONG time ago. Disney had been toying around with super-hero ideas in a rash sense the success of the XMen. I just put 2 and 2 together and saw they were headed down the same road as Warner Brothers when they bought DC. Like it or not Wolverine and Batman are very similar in personality YET at the same time WAY different. Wolverine is the most popular super-hero of all time...in the comics, Batman is the Most popular hero movie of all time ever LOL OK then, a lot of that was because WB KNOW how to make a great flick. Now Disney with out a doubt are the grates at animated movies, But their live ation film. errrrr yah. It you note sense Hugh Jackmon has taken the Wolverine roll he as caused a lot of tone down and added story that plays Logan's softer side... PERFECT for Disney BTW. AND the XMEN... PERFECT for them too. So put that all together and you may just have teh PERFECT combination for one hell of a animated movie! AND even cooler if Pixar does it!! which btw Disney owns too. I just happen to KNOW people who work there that are BIG comic fans. I went to school with Pete Doctren at Cal Arts which is Disney's school, I got a little taste about how the think.
So really them buying MAVEL is not a big surprise and most likely they will keep the heros true to their roots more than FOX ever did. They will go with stories and adjustment that fit them and that are going to sell. So I don't think the stuff will be crap, but I do fear it could be coney... however they do have a more adult line called Touchtone and own ABC so we may see thing better than one may think. I'm thinking along the lines of The Incredible and Toy Story, Monster's Inc. Those all had cool stories that really fit they charitors one the you can BANK on, it won't be totally ugly!!
