Why is it that every "all-new, all-different Deathlok" looks exactly like all the previous ones?
Back in Deathlok (II) #4-5 Wolverine was part of a team that rescued both the second Deathlok and Ruby Tuesday from Mechadoom. With Ruby Thursday appearing in Wolverine: Origins and now Deathlok (albeit not the same one) in Weapon X, I'm tempted to hope for a connection. But I expect that's asking for too much continuity from Marvel.\
I was re-reading Dark Reign - The List: Wolverine last night and I realized that Wolverine had encountered Deathlok's predecessors at "The World" when he fought Weapon XVI. The original backer of the project was Norman Osborne. Not surprisingly the story was written by Jason Aaron.
