Nice piece of dialogue: Warden - "We've trapped Wolverine inside this prison." Guard - Yes sir... Is there a problem, sir?" Warden - "Yes. We've trapped Wolverine inside this prison." Here's the preview - www.comicbookresources.com/?page=preview&id=4284&disp=tableRuby Thursday really takes me back. Last time I saw her was about 35 years ago. She was part of a group of evil-genius types (I think they were the "Head Men" or something similar) all with peculiar heads (one had a human head and a gorilla body). I think she shoots some kinda' energy outta' that lawn globe head of hers.

I think she should have stuck to her original head (not that I've ever seen it). Interesting choice on Way's part and I'm curious why Logan picked Ruby Thursday of all people to help him against Romulus. I'm certain no one saw this one coming. It's about as unlikely as Wolverine asaking Howard the Duck to help him. She's about an E-list villain, played for laughs on occasion, but that bizarre look did stick in my head since I was a kid. I just googled her and apparently my memories of her are pretty accurate. She was introduced as a member of the Headmen by writer Steve Gerber (creator of Howard the Duck) back in the mid 1970's. Her real name is Thursday Rubenstien. Her head can chance shape, grow tentacles, or just shoot bolts of energy. It's like some maleable plastic living computer, and it can control her body even if seperated from it. Here's her bio - marvel.wikia.com/Thursday_Rubinstein_(Earth-616)Here's a link to an outline of the history ot the Headmen - www.marvunapp.com/Appendix4/headmendef.htm

WELL she sounds very cool and I can see why Logan would pick her, she could com in handy on a lot of things and he doesn't have to worry about any sexual thing going on, ewww. But on the other hand who knows, logan doesn't seem picky lol

In reading one of her bios I noticed that they list the X-Men -specifically Wolverine, Storm and Jubilee - as "Affiliates" www.marvunapp.com/Appendix4/rubythursdayhm.htmIn other words, there may be an "in continuity" reason why Logan would ask for her help. Unfortunately I never read any story where they met. My best guess is that any meeting between them must've taken place in 1991 in Deathlok (vol. 2) issues #4-5, which I never read because I didn't know Wolverine was in it or it was just a brief cameo. From what I've pieced together a rogue 'Doombot" calling itself Mechadoom was kidnapping cyborgs (including Deathlok, Ruby Tuesday and Forge) and androids to study their programming. Misty Knight (also a cyborg) avoided capture and recriuted members of the Fantastic Four and X-Men to oppose Mechadoom. Soooo... if anyone knows what happened between Wolverine and Ruby Thursday in Deathlok (vol.2) #4-5 I'd be very intereasted to know what.
