Wolverine/Psylocke relationship?
Psylocke in a few issues has been a little weird with Wolverine IMO. in Uncanny XMEN 520 she has to fondle a piece of the predators that Logan was holding and asking him about it, i seem to remember she was there too. Then Wolverine tracks another predator and is complemented about his amazing tracking abilities by Betsy. um.. how long have they been teammates?
In Wolverine Weapon X 9 there is a weird scene were Betsy almost gets jealous of finding out ms garner knows wolverine. Betsy ask "are you sleeping with him?" Garner says no and ask if he has a girlfriend, Betsy replies that she is not aware of anyone, but also that she just came back from the dead. Betsy then tells Garner, why would he come to you some one he hardly knows?
Betsy did you want him to come to you? just some odd moments maybe nothing, but i hope not, i know Garner is the latest squeeze but why does she seem dead already? she was created to be Logan's girl, but all Logan's girls die...psylocke seems like she could handle the heat.
i know Wolverine and Betsy have appeared together in her series and she is concerned that his hate for Matsuo will destroy who he is, so the two characters seem kinda intertwined right now, why?

As far as Psylocke and Melita's scene together - yeah that got my attention too. First, why is Betsy interested? Second, why does the telepath ask in words if she only wants to know? I think the answer isn't jealousy, but rather her knowledge of Logan. She wants Melita to know how dangerous it is, but can't bring herself to tell her. She doesn't want to mess it up for Logan (since Melita is obviously interested) and won't say anything (about his "curse") because that's up to him.
The other possibility lies in her second question; Why would Logan "reach out" (telepathically remember? Thanks to Dr. Rot's machine?) to Garner, rather than her, or Emma, or the Cuckoos? Psylocke was curious about why he telepathically sent for help through a non-telepath and assumed that the logical explanation was that Logan and Melita were romantically involved.
Even before she got body-switched with Kwannon there was something there, thanks to Chris Claremont. Psylocke's previous costume (the pink one) was modified Landau, Luckman and Lake Expiditer body armour that Logan got for her after her first fight with Sabertooth. Maybe nothing, but when was the last time he bought another X-Woman clothes? After the switch Betsy was in a bad way trying to adapt to what happened to her. Logan was the first to trust her. Later (while she was involved with Warren) she was almost killed in her second fight with Sabertooth and Logan helped save her by getting her the Crimson Dawn powers. Finally Psylocke helped the rest of Logan's closest friends restore him when he'd been transformed into Death by Apocalypse. She's come and gone a couple times since then, had her powers switched around, been an Exile, died...
Now she's back, and I'm guessing someone thinks it's time to revisit some of that old connection (continuity!) between Logan and Betsy. No telling where Marvel will take that. But if Melita seems like a target right now maybe it's because Psylocke seems like a much better (and less vulnerable) love interest for Wolverine? Or maybe it's because Logan has been there and done that enough times that the only mystery left is who kills Melita and when, or when does she betray him or break his heart? Or will killing Romulus break the cycle? (Not likely!)

They'd make the PERFECT couple. See my avatar? Wolverine would finally have woman that fits all his preferences, and she can take care of herself.

I do feel the same way about Psylocke and Wolverine. They do make a perfect couple as good friends with each other and deep connections to each other. Besty seems to have major concern about Wolverine's condition and his vendetta against the man who killed his first true love.

Her primary concern was that she wanted to kill Matsu'o herself (since he engineered her body-switch with Kwannon in hte first place). She wasn't even aware of Logan's secret annual vendetta until he tried to interfere with her revenge. In the end he let her have her way and she killed Matsu'o, but he also warned her that the matter wasn't settled between them. Yes, she expressed concern over his actions in this situation just as she later did when she and the rest of the X-Men's "A-Team" discovered the truth about X-Force. In both cases she seemed to occupy a middle-of-the-road position with reguard to Logan's actions. Her reaction to X-Force was less venemently negative than Nightcrawler's for example. I really think she'd be an excellent fit in X-Force, since she clearly doesn't mind killing.
As far as a romantic relationship between them goes I'd say Betsy has about as much in common with Logan as Domino does, and maybe more past history together, but less of a common background (Neena was also a product of a government project). The big obstruction at present is Melita Garner, and she's not going anywhere soon (as long as Jason Aaron is writing Wolverine). So the best you'd possibly get right now is a love triangle, and Betsy isn't the kind to pine over a man who wants another woman, so that situation wouldn't last long.

Yes and that the fact Psylocke was a foster mother to Wolverine's Daughter Wild Thing, yet for some reasons Wildthing has the same powers as Psylocke. Also Pyslocke seems to have a close relationship with X-2, Wolverine's female clone and foster daughter. I know as of now Melita as become Wolverine's Love Interest and seems to be the type to stay for a long time. I do kinda like Melita.

Ah, yes, the MC2 Wolverine. Suuuuuure Rina Logan was Elektra's daughter... because of course she inherited those psychic sais/claws from her biological mother... I think Psylocke was callled her "godmother" in that universe, not her "fosdter mother." But of course the logical explanation is that Elektra is the step-mother here and Betsy (she of the psychic katana, and the psychic knife before that) is her real mom. And I really wish they had told that story in Wild Thing instead of just hinting at it.

Elektra couldn't have those powers like Psylocke, its possible that she is Wild Thing Biological mother. And maybe Elektra's step mother, it may haven a cover up for their daughters protection. Thats why I think Psylocke and Wolverine would made an interesting couple, since they have like deep connections to each other, and care deeply with each other. I need to buy that Psylocke Solo series.

To me, what was going on behind the scenes (i.e. what the "grown-ups" were doing) was more interensting than the main focus of Wild Thing (a high-school-based story of a teen-age female "Wolverine" trying to establish her own identity). But the whole MC2 franchise was obviously aimed at a younger audience, full of adolescent "legacy" characters more-or-less following in their parents' and predecessors' footsteps. Like the Marvel 2099 franchise it tried to get the audience to care about a whole new set of characters by making them successors to the present-day characters we already like. So in Wild Thing's case I was always more interested in how Rina Logan got there that what she did.
At the moment almost all the mutants on earth are gathered on Utopia and collectively calling themselves "X-Men." Yet out of all the X-Men currently still alive there are few who Logan cares about as much as Psylocke, and of those, even fewer who would make a believable love-interest for Wolverine.
The "Kill Matsu'o" mini-series is definitely worth it! The story resolves two grudges that've lasted for decades and digs up painful memories for both Betsy and Logan. Plus we get Yukio involved as a bonus. And the artwork was terriffic (reminded me of Barry Windsor-Smith)! I really hope they collect that into a TPB format.
I think another strike against a Wolverine/Psylocke relationship replacing Melita Garner is the fact that Jason Aaron doesn't have that much control over Psylocke. Lasting relationships between two big-name superhero characters rarely occur, and when they do it almost inevitably has to originate in a common team book rather than a solo title. Storm and Black Panther are the only major exception I can think of off the top of my head.

There is a possibility that Wolverine might ask for Psylocke to erase her memories of Wolverine and all of her reporting of her life research about Logan. Just for her protection and out of love so that Logan will no longer suffer. In the future, I think. I do like her don't get me wrong, but having two big name heroes such as Wolverine and Psylocke will be great. Just like how Storm and Black Panther come together, like you said.

I got the trade paperback of the Psylocke solo series! It contains the classic first appearance of Psylocke in her Asian body and how it was thanks to Logan to bring her back to her old self and how their trust, friendship and care for each other grew deeper. When Psylocke got into Logan's mind and even more deeper in his feral side. It almost made me think that they have developed a great bond between each other.
And that new solo series showed an even more great bond between Logan and Betsy.

I'm glad they chose to re-print that story to give context to Psylocke's past with Matsu'o, as well as Wolverine's connection to those previous events. It's worth noting the parallels between the two stories. Originally it was Betsy's mind-linking to Wolverine during their fight that shocked her our of Matsu'o's brain-washing back to her true identity. This time Psylocke's unintended duel with Logan over Matsu'o's fate that frees him from his vendetta and helps him let go of Mariko. I'd say his talk with Kurt about Mariko's death and his feelings of responsibility (in another title shortly before Kurt died) was a follow-up to this story.
One other story that relates kind'a directly to "Kill Matsu'o" - particularly Psylocke's resolution to her fight with a berserk Wolverine (by doing the same thing Jubilee did) - is Wolverine #146. In that story Jubilee, Kitty and Kurt went to retrieve Wolverine after Apocalypse turned him into "Death." Betsy stayed behind to monitor events and coordiante with Cerebro. Kurt and Kitty tried to fight Logan until he came to his senses but he just attacked them. Then Jubilee confronted Logan but refused to fight him. That stopped him and gave Psylocke an opening into his mind, through which she helped him remember who he was. In "Kill Matsu'o" it was almost like Betsy remebered what worked before and used it again, but she still had no guarantee that what worked for Jubilee would work for her too.

Yeah, me too. I love how their fight over Matsu'o's fate was not only that but helping Wolverine to let go of vendetta over Matsu'o's murder of his one only true love Mariko. Psylocke chose to end the fight by letting him kill her to go through Matsu'o and didn't use her psi-powers to calm him down. And then Wolverine chose to stop and let things all go of his hatred towards Matsu'o and let Psylocke kill him. Like you said it worked for Jubilee to stop the Berserk Wolverine and she took the gamble of doing it again.
I just hope that maybe Logan might as Psylocke or Enma to erase Melita's memories of Wolverine for her protection. It would be better than seeing another one die or betrayed.

Then if the story went that way we would NOT have a new side to explore of Wolverine. See we have seen all sides of him but not how he is in a real face to face daily based relationship. Besides keep in mind Melita PICKED Logan to be HER Lover. She wanted him for her self and she got him. So that is very different than him picking her. It means she KNOWS what she is getting into and understands what to do to keep him and will learn how to avoide getting killed or being a victim. There are MANY ways to fight and it doesn't always boil down to who can kick who's ass. Sometimes it is about will power and other times about out smarting the other guy. She doesn't have to be supergirl to beat somone. Logan desided to give her a chance and now finds himself falling for her. Well what that means is he understands she understands what she is getting into and that tells him she is willing to go all the way and not blame any result on him. That takes teh guilt fator out that he could end up caring. He told her flat out she understood and accepted him. So this makes things open for a much stronger bond and leaves the door open for some good story telling too. In a nut shell, it is up to the writers how good the stories will end up, but I thing this kind of start shows a lot of prmise. LOgan letting go of his hate is the begining of letting go of all the passed conected with it. This leaves him free to start a real relationship with a real person. not someone who is taking the place of or putting a band aid on his booboo haeart. By letting go, he will truelly be able to give Melita a real chance to be something important in his heart. This will create a much stronger bond than if he still held onto the passed like he had been. in other words... no more one night stands, he won't even want them. We'll see much more clearly who Logan the man is in this relationship.

Melita has made her own decision of going into Logan's way of life and prepared for anything that will come to her. I believe that confronting Mystique will make the best chance to show Melita what she is capable of, at least I hope. Like Auron said Melita is not meant to be the damsel in distress or canon fodder.
