OK I just saw a peek in some comic I can't remember what story or what issue but it was Daken he was in a hospital bed his girlfriend next to him some blonde dame don't keep up with him too much, but this was funny ... Ok he just woke up and she said "Back from the dead?" and he ask her how long he was out bla bla something else was asked forgot think it had to do with damage and all that... the first thing Daken does is open his bed sheet to take a peek at his 'goods' LOLOL I guess he figures as long as "that" is still there , nothering else mattered. LOLOLOL I found that pretty funny. My question is, I vaglly remember Logan making some comment about his goods, he said maybe it'll grow back bigger this time. LOLOL Again I don't remember the comic or the story, I just remember that comment. So Is it possible? i didn't relize he could "grow it back" lololol

Will "it" grow back? Yes. Wolverine experienced exactly this situation in the Wolverine/Mr. X one-shot out last week and he tells Mr.X in no uncertain terms that it heals too. However any reference to " maybe it'll grow back bigger this time" is probably a reference to Deadpool. I think there was a scene around the time malcolm Colcord tried to re-recruit Deadpool for his iterration of Weapon X. They had just enhanced Deadpool's healing factor to the point where he could regenerate body parts and demonstrated this by cutting off his arm and telling him his body parts would grow back bigger and stronger. "Bigger and stronger?" asks Deadpool, "Lemmee see that sword!" >THWAP<

Consider it a tribute to Logan's will-power. Mr. X was trying anything at that point to make Wolverine fight him (to prove he's better), including cutting off his ear, gouging out his eye and a groin-shot with a hooked blade. But no matter what he did Logan wasn't giving him the satisfaction. Mr. X was kind'a like the masochist begging "Beat me! Beat me!" and Wolverine was the sadist saying, "Ahhhhhh... no."
See, Mr. X kidnapped a kindergarten, beheaded the teacher and threaten to burn the kids alive if Wolverine didn't fight him. And so Wolverine took then bait. But Logan realized that he was showing Mr.X that he could be manipulated, and decided to put a stop to that once and for all. He figured it was the worst thing he could do to the guy. So now no matter what Mr. X does, or who he threatens, it won't do him any good. And Logan drove that point home by taking Mr. X's worst and just walking away.

That is something I really love about Wolverine, his will power, I love his heart, his loyaty, his doing things HIS way and his temper too, he's just a fantastic design. A lot of people put different ideas into forming him and I feel tho at times the wrtiting is WAY over the top or even silly, mostly Marvel has done a fantastic job on this guy more so than almost any other hero in history of comics. I wrote a few stories about him that are very good and it is mostly because honestly , if you have any creativity at all, it is easy to write a good read about Wolverine there is so much to draw from so many things you can include.
So back to this Well I don't know much on Mr. X, but I think Logan is right, what he is doing is the only real way to beat a guy like that. AND here again... ONLY Wolverine could even come close to doing it. It's a bit gross for my taste, but it sounds like a good read.

Mr. X poses the typical dimlemma all Wolverine's classic enemies did - threatening or harming others to manipulate him. On the one hand I wonder about the logic of Logan's decision - he could've just killed the guy and settled matters permanently so Mr. X never kills anybody else. But the story works so much better this way in that Logan does the unexpected and beats Mr. X by being a man rather than an animal and choosing strength over violence. To "win" in this situation all Logan had to to was take away Mr. X's incentive.
In their previous two fights between Wolverine and Mr. X Logan still didn't have his memories back. This is the first time Mr. X has faced a Wolverine who knows everything he ever knew. He's able to see the pattern of manipulation that's controlled his whole life and now he's doing something to end it. So when Mr. X tried to force Wolverine into a fight by threatening those kids he thought he had power over Logan. But Logan finally realized that all Mr. X could do was offer him a choice - he still had the power to make the choice Mr. X never could have expected.
Wolverine did something here that most heroes would never think of doing. It wasn't the "I'll beat you no matter what it takes 'cuz yer' bad!" speech. Logan took it to a whole different level. He told Mr. X - "You got nothing. Do whatever you want. It don't matter, 'cuz you still lose no matter what you do. No one can make me do anything." So in that sence this story is kind of a milestone for Wolverine.

Yep I agree it is and It is cool cause he is re claiming his humanity and becoming the man he always wanted to be not the animal or the weapon others saw in him and demanded he become to serve them. Every likes and admires someone who can kick ass, a good solger a person who can do thing for you take care of things you can't... but very few can really see the true value when they become what others dictate they should. I always saw Logan trying so hard to be free of the chains that bind him to other's will. It is NICE to see him knowingly breaking away from that... now he will became what they feared the most, a being that can not only beat them, but totally take over and end their lives. they ways, the things they want most. That's what they saw in him from day one and that is why all those nasty things were done to him, for him to be the one to do their bidding all these years and he did with out even knowing it. But now... Well now the stories will have real meat to them, it's going to be FAR from the old superman batman way of beating the bad guys. The future writers of Wolverine will really have to dig into the soul and give real thought to the stories... don't you agree?

This story sets the bar pretty high. I'm sure circumstances would limit how often Logan would (or could) take such an approach, but it's nice to know Wolverine is capable of thinking like this. As you mentioned earlier there's no consistency in how writers use Wolverine, and plenty of times he gets stuck into a failing title to boost ratings when he has no intrinsic reason for being there, and on such occasions he's often written with little thought.

I put a lot of thought and try to follow his main traits when I write I do research and study the subject I put him in, I try to write him real and as if he could be real, VERY few write him like that, that's why we got stuck with the CRAPY empy movies writings. No meat what so ever, annoying. Do you know when Wolverine's birthay is? I remember something about it but not sure if it was ever stated.

Yeah, you could almost replace the "Aries" heading with "Wolverine" and with a little editing it'd describe him pretty well.
Red, huh? Figures.
