The only thing that we know about his older brother is:
His grave reads: John Howlett Beloved Son Lost Before His Time 1885 - 1897
And he appeared in the: Wolverine the End - series. First appeared in issue 3. As an old man. And he died in issue 6. Killed by his younger brother.
I want to see more stories about his brother and the history where they were together, and have them both in a story where they appear in the now and meet each-other.
Question is: When his is older brother going to appear in the Wolverine series?

When or if? Wolverine: The End is considered non-canon because it's set in one possible distant future. Wolverine: Origins is canon, but says that John Howlett, Jr. (not John Howlett III - we don't know his grandfather's first name) died in 1897.
That doesn't mean John Howlett isn't alive as shown in The End, but to become a canon "fact" he would have to appear in a story set in the past or present that confirms his survival after 1897. imagine Romulus would know if John, Jr. were still alive, so Daniel Way may decide to bring him into the story in Wolverine: Origins if he liked the character.
One other characteristic I thought was interesting about John, Jr. was his ability to become "ghost-like." Almost makes me wonder if he wasn't Kitty Pryde's great-grandfather...

I wonder if John Howlett III/White Ghost could also be this Romulus character in the present story lines? I know it showed Romulus having huge lower canine teeth, and White Ghost didn't, but they could always come up with some sort of excuse.

While both John Jr. and Romulus occupied the role of "behind the scenes manipulator" in Logan's life they can't be the same character. Romulus is thousands of years old (possibly older than Apocalypse) - he was already ancient when he fought as a gladiator in Rome. Wolverine: The End is out of continuity so Daniel way can usurp these characteristics without contradicting "Marvel history." It is likely that if John, Jr. ever appears again he will not be depicted quite like he was in Wolverine: The End.

It also showed Wolverine and Sabretooth as gladiators in Rome, which was supposed to be way before they were both born. I just thought that was some sort of symbolism. It is exactly that both Romulus and White Ghost are fulfilling the same role that I believe they are one and the same.

Y'know I was always interested with the whole "John Howlett III" angle and I heard a rumour (dated last year) that he might be appearing in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" however I am rather doubtful that he'll make an appearance (seeing that he's pretty much an unknown compared to his "kid" brother) but there's nothing wrong with having a little hope now and then. If they do introduce him to the regular storyline I hope they don't make the stupid mistake of replicating the Itachi/Sasuke "brother" relationship angle on Naruto, but it seems doubtful seeing for starters I don't think Logan would be looking to kill John for massacring his hometown, lol XD

This makes me wonder what ever happened to "The Hill?" Is the Howlett mansion still standing somewhere in Alberta? If so, who might currently own it? When "Old Man Howlett died with no heirs would it have become provincial property and gotten auctioned off (this would have been around 1915)? Now that Logan has all his memories back, will he even be curious? Would he ever visit his parents' graves? I think there could be some story potential there (possibly even a ghost story).

Yeah it would be, though I'm more interested with the interaction between the Howlett brothers in the canon universe. Call me sappy but I liked the hug in Wolverine: The End and at the end where John said that he was proud of Logan
