... has just changed as of Wolverine #5.1!
Apparently he wasn't born in early April as I had previously deduced. Melite Garner located what she believes to be the real birth record for "James Howlett." While no specific date is given for this story (set on Logan's birthday) - and it's set in Canada - it at least appears to be winter.
Oh, and if the "5.1" issues are supposed to set-up the ongoing conflict for the series for 2011, then it appears we'll be seeing more of The Hand in Wolverine's future.
