Began reading X-Men in the mid-late 1970's and never stopped. What first fascinated me about Wolverine was that he didn't fit the stereotype of what superheroes were like back then (or now really, though he's been often immitated). No lofty abstract principles to defend, just raw feelings, and the action that flows from them. I thought Wolverine was cool before it was cool to think Wolverine was cool. Even then I felt like there was so much more to him than the rest of the team. For one thing, he'd kill when he had to. Like a real person. He'd seen things, done things, survived things that the rest couldn't imagine and he couldn't remember. His whole life was an endless epic tragedy with no escape. Three decades later we still don't know how deep it goes. Yet somehow he still manages to wake up every morning and do it all over again.

I'm from the UK, aged 17. I've been reading X-Men since I was about 13 but always related most with Wolverine, I guess its because I'm fairly short like him and although I'm not a loner I've never felt I had any truly close friends since I was younger. I guess I just admire that a short and lonely guy can defy everyone and beat the odds.

I'm Phil from Houston, and am a part time comic book seller, more of a hobby than a business anymore. I'm older than dirt, younger than the moon, but just barely. I'm married to my highschool sweetheart, have a son in college, and have a more than full-time day job. I owned a comic book shop years ago, and along with my wife, had a grand time doing so. Never made much money at it, other comic shop owners will tell you the same. BUT, it gave me access to some really great reading ! My time with comic books, and flipping them has taught me that even a middle aged comic book lover can learn new things. Like how to build a webshop, what html is, and how to make things function the way I want them to. An education process that helps keep the old gray cells in my brain functioning. Just a wonderful thing. Phil

I first became a wolverine fan when i was about 4-5 years old and i played with a Wolverine action figure at day care and waited anxiously for x-men on the the saturday morning cartoon line up. Ever since then he's kind of been a mirror of who i am and who i want to be. Just recently (last summer when i was bed ridden with three cracked ribs, two chpped vertibree and a torn rotator cuff...no patridge in a pear tree) i started ordering and reading X-men and wolverine comics online to pass the time, after reading enemy of the state there was no longer any question of who kicked the most ass, i was hocked, so here i am, thanks for makeing such a great site for junkies like me who can't get enough of short fury guy.

Welcome to the Logan Files!
"Nuff said!" literally means "I've said enough ("nuff") about this. There's nothing more that you need to know."
I'd like to know what Koe Murha means?

"Experience Murder" - interesting phrase to connect with Wolverine! He's certainly "experienced murder" from several perspectives: As perpetrator - he's got a five-figure body count. As victim - how many times has he been "clinically dead" for several minutes before he "got better?" As victim-survivor - both parents, more friends than he can count, and every woman he ever loved - died violently.

I became interested in the x-men after the first movie and after that I began to read comics again to get the whole perspective about the characters. I have to blame Hugh Jackman for my interest in Wolverine, I believe he did a great job.

Hi all, i'm 16 years old and from the UK. Im new to this forum and i'm also a new Wolverine fan ;D
Ive just been looking on the internet for picturesa and clips of Wolverine portrayed by Hugh Jackman and there isnt too much to be honest. Does anyone know where I can get wallpapers fr my desktop?
Also, where are the best places to buy Wolverine comics from? I think the best place is probably Forbidden Planet, if you've heard of the shop.
Thanks!

Hello everyone,
My name is Chuck and I'm a Youth Minister in Arkansas USA - and a HUGE Wolverine fan. Of course, I have been a Wolverine fan since he was a noobie on the X-Men team! haha I always loved Wolvie and discovered him all on my own - since NONE of my friends collected comic books. I also love Hugh Jackman as Wolvie and am excited about the new movie. God am I glad they fixed his hair in this new movie! haha
Anyway, I was excited when I wandered into this forum and thought I'd say hello! I'm also a member also on the Replica Prop Forum (therpf.com) if anyone else is over there too.
Well, nice to meet you guys! God Bless! I look forward to getting to know you all!
--Chuck
