Hey guys, I'm not sure if "resurrecting a dead topic" is frowned upon here like everywhere else I go to forum-wise but I thought I'd take the plunge seeing that there's pretty much nowhere else to post my introduction. I'm Kate and I'm from Victoria's south western region (Australia) and Wolverine was my favourite superhero since I was 6 or so (I was reading my older brother's comics and watching the X-Men: TAS series before I went to school on Cheez TV which is unfortunately cancelled ), and I'm 20 now so that's a long time for me at least. XD I'm currently studying Certificate II in Graphic Arts at the Gordon Institute of TAFE (it's a tertiary school, I'm hoping to get involved with Marvel in the long run) and I'm hoping to get into university as well. My main hobby is drawing (I'll post some of my works here soon and see for yourself) and chasing up on my obsessions on the internet. Well nice to meet you guys and I look forward to meeting you all on here Cheers Dranz (my nickname for my username)

Welcome to the Logan Files, Kate! This will never be a "dead topic" as long as the board continues to grow, and in any case I don't think any topic here is really "dead" as long as anyone still has anything to say about the subject.

Hello there, just another newbie. My name's Erik, I'm a 28-year-old general meds physician from Westfalia in Germany (living in Hesse, though) and I've been a comic fan ever since I was able to turn a page. For ... pffff ... years I've been visiting this side regularly and I thought it was about time to register and get out into the open Hoping to meet a couple of great people, cheers, Rik

Thanks for welcoming me! My granddad went to the US as a prisoner of war and when he returned he brought a couple of Batman comics. So it's been him who inducted me into the world of comics. I collect the Wolvies and X-Men, some of the Star Wars darkhorse series and a couple of specials from Batman and Spiderman (as far as I like them). I can't even remember when I first started, only know that unfortunately during med school I had to reduce my expenses and now conventions and fan markets gotta help me. They're doing quite well though I can probably help a bit by contributing news and views from German magazines, paper and tv, so as I get my hands on them I'll let everybody know.

Actually it's going pretty well. 'til now almost a million Germans have seen it so far, which is quite a lot, and it's still above Star Trek (though that won't last, I guess).
The fans I been talking to at my comic store all were satisfied to enthused (me belonging to the latter ones) and critics in major movie magazines and fantasy media have been good. I'd say you can call it a success and probably no one can wait for a second one, especially when those last three seconds prove to be true (sayonara Tokyo de *dreams*).
