Bishop IMO does not make the list, im feeling Cable alot more and as far as i know bishop came from the future,c an absorb power and use it as a energy blast from his hands. where cable has a type of telekentic/telekensis, he can body slip(teleport) and has a computer that seems to have all the ansewers in the world, not to mention cables heavy weapons, so out of your two badboys of the future i choose to get rid of Bishop.
I see everone is kinda getting the hang of putting down reasons, we are getting down to the last of the last, if someone (mega ;D) could put a brief desription of each of the remaining characters next to there name that would be of great help to all of us. Only if you have time, thanks.
Here is who is left: Angel Cable Cannonball Cyclops Phoenix Havok Iceman Jubilee Juggernaut M Marvel Girl Multiple Man Nightcrawler Nocturne Northstar Omega Sentinel Psylocke Quicksilver Rogue Shadowcat Storm Sunfire Wolverine

Sorry, it's gonna be a looooooong post. (Arch)angelReal Name: Warren Kenneth Worthington III Height: 6' Weight: 150 lbs Hair color: Blond Eyes: Blue Current Status: CEO, Worthington Enterprises Nationality: American Powers and Abilities: peak human strength, speed, agility, endurance, reflexes, eyesight, and hearing, hollow bone structure, zero body fat in his body, feathered wings allowing flight, healing power in his blood rejuvenates him and anyone with a compatible blood type it touches, carries a mystical sword CableReal Name: Nathan Christopher Charles Summers Height: 6' 6‘‘ Weight: 350 lbs. Hair color: grey, originally brown Eyes: one blue, one glowing Current Status: X-Men 3.1 - apparently dead Nationality: "American" - raised in alternate future. Powers and Abilities: telekinesis allows him to levitate, project psionic force blasts and energy fields, and manipulate matter with the power of his mind, techno-organic symbiote has fitted him with a cybernetic arm and eye, employs the Dominus Objective to access the infonet, drawing vast amounts of information from the electronic datastream Notes: Cable burned out his telepathy/telekenesis in Cable/Deadpool #10 battling the Silver Surfer. He developed technological aids to mimic his lost powers in C/D #23. Nate formerly had the artificial intelligence unit known as the Professor implanted in his T-O mesh, which gave him an internal analytic system and enabled him to access his latent temporal powers for Bodyslide and Time-rip transportation. The active T-O virus has been removed from Cable's body, though the cybernetic parts remain thanks to a Phalanx embryotic symbiote he has bonded with. Cannonball Real Name: Samuel Zachery (Jackson?) Guthrie Height: 6' Weight: 150 lbs Hair color: Blond Eyes: Blue Current Status: X-Men Nationality: American Powers: generate thermochemical energy as a blast field, which can act as propulsion, bio-kinetic blasts, a protective force shield, and a containment field around his opponent, or absorb kinetic energy to create shockwaves or supercharge the force behind his punches. Cannonball is also supposedly an External, an immortal mutant, Cyclops Real Name: Scott Summers Height: 6' 3‘‘ Weight: 175 lbs. Hair color: Brown Eyes: Brown Current Status: X-Men strike force leader, Headmaster of the Institute Nationality: American Powers: Cyclops' eyes constantly fire red energy beams, which produce force, not heat, and are powered by solar energy. At full power these beams can punch through mountains. However, Cyclops cannot control his power, and is forced to always wear a ruby quartz visor, glasses or goggles. He has an uncanny ability to compute trigonometric relations, which allows him to bounce his optic blasts with incredible accuracy. His greatest fear is losing control of his powers and hurting someone he cares for. Cyclops is immune to his brother Havok's power, and vice versa. Phoenix Real Name: Jean Grey-Summers Height: 5‘ 6“ Weight: 115 lbs. Hair color: Red Eyes: Green Nationality: American Current Status: Deceased (sort of) Powers: telepath able to read minds, project thoughts, send out her astral form, and manipulate thoughts to control minds, cast illusions, and alter memories, psychokinetic able to lift, direct, and manipulate physical objects, project psionic force blasts, generate force fields, and fly. Phoenix is one of the most powerful telepaths on the planet, second only to Professor X. She also has telekinesis of an unparalleled level, capable of latching onto objects in orbit and manipulating hundreds of components in mid-air in complex patterns. When she merged with the Phoenix Force as the original and then Dark Phoenix, Jean could make her thoughts into reality, although her power usually manifested itself in terms of her telepathy and telekinesis. Notes: Although her husband Cyclops was the first X-Man, Jean was Xavier's first student. The original Phoenix was actually a construct created by the Phoenix Forceto replace Jean Grey (Marvel Girl), who sacrificed herself to save her teammates as they were crash-landing in a damaged spacecraft. This clone actually believed herself to be Jean; in reality the real Jean Grey was in a healing cocoon at the bottom of Jamaica Bay. Jean Grey has absorbed the memories of Madelyne Pryor and the Phoenix Force when it was posing as her. Many of these memories still remain within her consciousness. Jean posed as "Redd Dayspring" in Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix #1, and first assumed the mantle of Phoenix in #4. Havok Real Name: Alexander Summers Height: 6'0" Weight: 175 lbs. Hair color: Blond Eyes: Blue Current Status: Captain of the Starjammers Nationality: American Powers: absorb cosmic energy, such as starlight, x-rays, and gamma rays, then metabolize them into plasma wave discharges that can be used for concussive impact or to superheat and destroy objects. Havok absorbs ambient stellar energy and reemits it as a focused plasma blast strong enough to melt steel or fry a person, although he can finely tune it to cause little or no damage. Alex has at times required a containment suit to keep all the energy from constantly discharging. He is immune to his brother Cyclops' power, and vice versa. Iceman Real Name: Robert Louis Drake Height: 5‘ 8“ Weight: 145 lbs. Hair color: Brown Eyes: Blue Current Status: X-Men Nationality: American Powers: generate subzero cold that freezes anything in its path, forming water vapor into various ice shapes, converts into an organic ice form with enhanced strength, durability, and cryomorphing powers. Iceman has the ability to lower the temperature in his surrounding area while gathering moisture to form ice into any shape that he wishes. He used to encase his body in ice and snow, but now he actually transforms into a man of ice. This allows him to manipulate his body on a molecular level. He can also perceive the world in terms of temperatures. Notes: Iceman is an Omega-Level Mutant. He can survive not only as sentient ice but as sentient water and vapor, and has the capacity to manipulate all forms of moisture. Jubilee Real Name: Jubilation Lee Height: 5‘1” Weight: 96 lbs. Hair color: Black Eyes: Blue or Brown (it switches often!) Nationality: Chinese American Current Status: Wondra Powers: Jubilee generates and controlls guided plasma projectiles ("pafs") that explode on command. Most of the time they are small, but when she's stressed or scared, she can cause major damage. She has the unrealized potential to detonate matter on the sub-atomic level. Juggernaut Real Name: Cain Marko Height: 6‘10” Weight: 900 lbs. Hair color: Red Eyes: Blue Current Status: Excalibur Nationality: American Powers: unlimited strength, endurance and invulnerability to physical harm, ability to retain forward momentum, rendering him unstoppable while in motion, generate an inercia-canceling force field, mystical helmet makes him immune to psychic attacks. Cain Marko grew up with his step-brother Charles Xavier, and always hated him, mostly because his father Kurt ignored Cain in favor of Charles (Kurt felt guilty over having caused Brian Xavier's death). When the boys were drafted to Korea, Cain and Charles stumbled on an ancient temple. Lured by greed and thoughts of glory, Cain found a red gem and picked it up. He became a human juggernaut. Protected by that Crimson Gem of Cyttorak, Juggernaut is the irresistable force. His super-strength, combined with his total invulnerability make him nearly unstoppable. His only weakness is psychic attacks, if his helmet is off. Otherwise, get out of the way! M Real Name: Monet Yvette Clarisse Maria Therese St. Croix Height: 5'7" Weight: 125 lbs Eyes: Brown Hair: Black Current Status: X-Factor Investigations Note: currently pregnant. Nationality: Yugoslavian/Algerian Powers: superhuman strength, speed, agility, endurance, reflexes, invulnerability and intelligence, night vision, hearing, healing factor, telepathy, flight. ... and that's just part 1!

Here's part 2! Marvel Girl Real Name: Rachel Anne Summers Height: 5' 7" Weight: 125 lbs. Hair: Red Eyes: Green Current Status: Starjammers Nationality: American (Alternate Future) Powers: telepath able to read minds, project thoughts, send out her astral form, and manipulate thoughts to control minds, cast illusions, and alter memories, psychokinetic able to lift, direct, and manipulate physical objects, project psionic force blasts, generate force fields, and fly, project the consciousnesses of herself and other humans through the fabric of time and space. Rachel inherited all of her mother's telepathy and telekinesis. She also has her own mutant power, the ability to project her own or someone else's astral self through time, (as she did to Kate Pryde, an alternate future version of Shadowcat, whose astral self was sent back to our time to warn the X-Men of the "Days of Future Past," a dark future that would occur if Senator Robert Kelly were to be assassinated). All of these powers were amplified tremendously when the Phoenix Force merged with her while she was astrally projected back to the present. Multiple Man Real Name: James Arthur ("Jamie") Madrox Height: 5‘11“ Weight: 155 lbs. Hair color: Brown Eyes: Brown Current Status: X-Factor Investigations (M - may be carrying his child) Nationality: American Powers: Madrox duplicates himself upon impact. He has enough control that he can create a "dupe" by clapping, or stick a finger under a door and create a dupe on the other side. He can also survive the death of a dupe, e.g. the one that died from the Legacy Virus. Madrox's duplicates tend to manifest one particular aspect of his personality very strongly, like caution, machismo, or adventurousness, and the aspect increases in strength the longer the dupes remain apart from the original. Nightcrawler Real Name: Kurt Wagner Height: 5'9” Weight: 170 lbs. Hair color: Indigo Eyes: Yellow, with no visible pupils Current Status: X-Factor Investigations Nationality: German Powers: peak human agility and reflexes, prehensile tail, cling to any surface, access to the Brimstone Dimension allows teleportation and a light-sapping field that combines with his indigo fur to enable him to blend in with shadows, razor-edged fencing foils. Nightcrawler has blue fur, yellow eyes, fangs and a prehensile tail. He has three fingers and toes on each appendage and can stick to walls. He is a line-of-sight teleporter and is also a master swordsman and acrobat (his boyhood - and adult - idol is Errol Flynn). His teleportation, which smells of brimstone and sulfur and makes his signature "BAMF!" noise, takes him through another dimension, although he only actually saw it once. Generally, though, his teleportation is instantaneous. The opening to the dimension travels with Kurt at all times, distorting light and leaving him in shadow when it's light out, and rendering him nearly invisible when he's in shadow. He also has an infallible spatial awareness, which is necessary for him to teleport, because if he does not judge distances accurately, he could end up teleporting into solid matter, which could cripple or kill him. As a result, Kurt generally only 'ports to places that he can see, or to those that he knows very well, like his room in the Mansion. Nocturne Real Name: Talia Josephine Wagner Height: 5'7" Weight: 110 lbs Eyes: Yellow, no pupils Hair: Indigo Skin: Blue fur (lighter than Nightcrawler) Current Status: New Excalibur Nationality: American (alternate future) History & Powers: heightened agility and reflexes, night vision, retractable tail, cling to solid objects, low-level telepathy, extra-dimensional access allows her to fire explosive energy "hex bolts" and merge with the bodies of others to control them. Daughter of Nightcrawler and Scarlet Witch, Nocturne inherited her father's blue fur, three-toed hands and feet, a (retractable) tail, yellow eyes and pointed ears, as well as an energy blasting ability like her mom's "hex bolts." As a second-generation mutant, however, Nocturne also developed her own mutant power, the ability to physically possess another person and influence their movements for up to one lunar cycle, hence her codename. Talia also possesses a limited form of telepathy. In Noctune's home reality, her father leads the X-Men along with Wolverine. Talia grew up with the X-Men, and became immune to the queasinss usually induced by her dad's teleportation after riding on his back through hundreds of 'ports when she was a kid. She became a full member of the team, and also had a band called Butt Monkeys. It appears she was involved with James Proudstar (Thunderbird) in this reality. For a long time she lived in her father's shadow, and he trained her very hard, often at the expense of her feelings. However, when Cyclops (who had left the X-Men) attacked the mansion leading the Brotherhood, TJ was out with Kitty, who had been switched across dimensions with her younger self. Upon returning and seeing the attack, TJ was able to rally the students to delay the attack, then she possessed her teammate Armageddon, a telekinetic, to free Wolverine and kill the insane Cyclops. Having proved her skills and ability, she was able to reconcile somewhat with her father. Northstar Real Name: Jean-Paul Beaubier Height: 5' 11‘‘ Weight: 185 lbs. Hair color: black with silver streaks Eyes: blue Nationality: Canadian Powers: direct the kinetic energy in his molecules to propel himself through the air at superhuman speeds, generate blinding and concussive photon discharges when touching his sister. Northstar has the mutant ability to move at incredible speeds. He can fly at similar speeds, and when in contact with his sister Aurora, was able to generate a blinding light. Northstar's physical features are mostly human, except for his pointed (elfin) ears and upswept eyebrows. Although he always seemed unable to radiate light by himself, Northstar now glows while in flight, indicating that he may have developed more control over his powers. Omega Sentinel Real Name: Karima Shapandar Hair: Black Current Status: X-Men Aliases: none Nationality: East Indian Powers & History: None (human). However, Karima was one of the unfortunate people transformed into a Prime Sentinel by Bastion's Operation: Zero Tolerance. As a result, Karima possesses cybernetic and nano-tech implants that give her superhuman strength, resistance, and reflexes, flight, regenerative capabilities, holographic imaging, and numerous other weapons housed within her body including rail guns, plasma knives, finger blades, and electrostatic poles. Outwardly, however, she has looked completely human (until recently), as her weapons all extended from inside her limbs and torso. Shadowcat Real Name: Katherine (Kitty) Pryde Height: 5'6” Weight: 110 lbs. Hair color: Brown Eyes: Hazel Curent Status: X-Men Nationality: American Powers: Kitty passes the molecules of her body through matter, rendering her insubstantial. This ability also allows her to "walk on air," and even "detach" herself from Earth's gravity and appear to fly off, as she stays stationary while the Earth rotates at up to 1,000 miles per hour. She can phase other people and objects along with herself, as well as only part of an object. Her phasing through any electronic equipment causes it to short-circuit. She has refined this ability to sometimes allow her to cut off a person's nervous system (which is electrical in nature). Shadowcat is also a fully-trained ninja, thanks to Ogun, and is a computer and electronic hardware whiz. PsylockeReal Name: Elizabeth Gloriana "Betsy" Braddock Height: 5‘ 11“ Weight: 155 lbs. Hair color: Naturally black, either dyed or permanently altered purple Eyes: Brown Nationality: British (only the body is Japanese) Powers & history: psychic mind altered to produce telekinetic energies, allowing her to levitate and manipulate matter with her mind, propel herself through the air, project protective force screens, and generate focused energy blades that can sever the bonds between molecules and disrupt neural relays; immunity to all forms of telepathy. Psylocke was born a powerful telepath, a psycho-blaster with the ability to read minds, though her powers were dormant until her teen years. It is slightly unclear whether she is in fact a mutant, or whether her abilities stem from the fact that her father was one of the Captain Britains from Otherworld, a realm run by Merlin (and then by Roma) in which science and magic are both at advanced levels. After college she became a charter pilot. Later, she became an international fashion model, which doubled as a cover for her position as an agent for the British intelligence team called S.T.R.I.K.E. However, after going through the Siege Perilous Psylocke was used by the Hand and Lord Nyoirin, an Asian crimelord, to reassemble the mind of his assassin, Kwannon, who had been injured in a fall. Matsu'o Tsurayaba, Kwannon's lover, cut a deal with the time-dancer Spiral and Betsy's mind entered Kwannon's body. Her mind was slightly merged with Kwannon's and, with the help of Spiral's Body Shoppe, their bodies were made genetically identical. "Psylocke" was given Kwannon's Asian body and martial arts training. At that point, she manifested her power in the form of a psychic knife that she would plunge into an opponent's head to knock them out. In reality, there was only a part (albeit the majority) of Betsy in Kwannon's body, believing herself to be Psylocke. When the remainder of Betsy (including her body) returned as Revanche (who was really Kwannon) and subsequently died from the Legacy Virus, Revanche returned the rest of Betsy's mind and power to Psylocke and took the missing parts of Kwannon into herself. Months later, the Shadow King tricked Psylocke into initiating a telepathic shockwave that disabled telepaths all over the world, leaving the King in command of the astral plane. Although her astral form was destroyed, Betsy emerged in a new "shadow form" that was certainly a by-product of her exposure to the Crimson Dawn. Invisible to the Shadow King, Betsy was then able to telepathically contain the Shadow King's core, but at a great cost: to ensure that the Shadow King would never be able to escape, Psylocke was forced to permanently shut down her telepathy. Shortly afterwards, Psylocke gained telekinetic power from Phoenix, and no longer had her telepathy. She was powerful enough to move giant beams and fly, but she still had control and stamina problems. She also seemed to have lost the ability to teleport between shadows. During the battle with the saurian Hauk'ka in the Savage Land, she discovered that her telekinesis was more powerful and she was immune to telepathic attacks. When the Scarlet Witch unleashed a reality warp that re-wrote history, Betsy remained unaffected and was able to maintain Rachel's status as well. The women found themselves in the White Hot Room (the core of the Phoenix Force), where Jamie told them they had to help set the world right. Strangely, Jamie's influence did not help the girls from being co-opted into the reality warp of the House of M when they returned to Earth. She was slightly injured when the X-Men intervened in the Shi'ar massacre of the Grey family. She also discovered that she could not be possessed in any way. Then Psylocke saw Jamie for real, but although he attacked the X-Men, he restored them to health and begged them to stop his former friends, who were trying to summon the First Forsaken, the force of nature opposed to the Phoenix. During the ceremony Betsy disrupted the spell with iron and her power, and they were all sucked into a heavenly paradise. The First Forsaken offered this solace to Jamie's friends, but Betsy realized that only the four summoners of the Forsaken would be spared, and the rest of Earth would be frozen in time or destroyed. Being immune to telepathic influence, she stabbed her TK sword into the Forsaken's mind, freeing her teammates and Jamie to act. Jamie, however, refused to let Betsy stay behind and sent her home with the others via a portal. Following a quick detour to Africa to help Storm depose her warlord uncle, Betsy visited Brian in England. While there, the alternate reality Charles Xavier recently captured by Excalibur woke from his coma and asked for her by name. She and Excalibur checked him out at Darkmoor, where the Shadow King revealed his presence to her, having been freed from the Astral Plane during House of M. Fortunately, Betsy's immunity to telepathy allowed her to fight the Shadow King, and she used her TK to induce a stroke in Dark Xavier, forcing the Shadow King out of his mind, where she stabbed him. Since Xavier and the Shadow King had been in alternate timelines, a sort of portal opened and Betsy disappeared. She reappeared in the Crystal Palace, the home base of the reality-jumping team, the Exiles, apparently a selection by the base's computers for a warrior compatible with the team's needs. However, it's probable that Roma had something to do with Betsy's arrival. Regardless, she first encountered Sabretooth (the heroic version from the Age of Apocalypse) and immediately attacked. Creed defended himself and had a great time, but team "dispatcher" Heather Hudson found that she couldn't see the new arrival with any scanners. Finally Betsy realized that Sabretooth wasn't out to kill her, and she joined the team. Strangely, she also found that she no longer had any cross-time counterparts. Quicksilver Real Name: Pietro Maximoff Height: 6'0" Weight: 175 lbs (80 kg) Eyes: Blue Hair: White Current Status: wandering in Mutant Town Nationality: Transian Powers: Speed, speed, and more speed. Nuff said! Quicksilver is possibly the fastest human in the Marvel Universe. His powers, however, have caused him to have a very condescending attitude towards the rest of the world, which drags his life along at what is to him, a snail's pace. Pietro also carries with him a great and dark legacy as the son of Magneto, a fact which constantly haunts him. Post HoM Powers: Powers and Abilities: time-jumper able to shift forward through time, relocating himself and folding back on his own timeline to create multiple versions of himself at once. Formerly carried Terrigen crystal imbedded in his hands, enabling him to cause mutation in others and reverse the effects of the Decimation. Rogue Real Name: Anna Marie (last name unknown) Height: 5‘ 8“ Weight: 120 lbs. Hair color: Brown with a White Stripe Eyes: Green Current Status: X-Men squad leader Nationality: American Powers: metabolize someone's total essence through physical contact, killing them while absorbing and duplicating their memories, skills and special powers, abilities absorbed from Sunfire let her produce an ionization effect that transforms matter into plasmetic solar fire, generate radiation shielding psi-field, and fly. Rogue's mutant power is to absorb the memories, abilities and physical characteristics of anyone with whom she comes into flesh-to-flesh contact. However, she has no control over this power, which first manifested when she kissed a childhood boyfriend named Cody, and drained his energy and mind. After her battle with Ms. Marvel, Rogue retained her opponent's powers of strength, flight, invulnerability, the ability to fly in space without protection, and a precognitive 7th sense, along with most of her psyche. Sometime after rejoining the main X-Men team at the Mansion, Rogue regained her powers. She previously had convinced Sage to use her catalyst ability to jump start Gambit's powers, so it seems possible that Sage may then have done the same for Rogue. However, she does not seem to have regained the abilities she got from Ms. Marvel. Sunfire then forced Rogue to take his remaining power to avenge his imminent death. Rogue was left with Sunfire's power, perhaps permanently. Storm Real Name: Queen Ororo Munroe of Wakanda Height: 5'11" Weight: 127 lbs. Hair color: White Eyes: Blue Current Status: Fantastic Four Nationality: American Affiliation: Fantastic Four, Royal House of Wakanda, X-Men 2.0, X-Powers: sense and influence meteorological energy patterns, creating rain, wind, hail, lightning, snow, sleet, fog and temperature changes. If it has an atmosphere, Storm can control it. Once worshipped as a goddess in Africa, Ororo can generate or disperse all forms of weather, including, wind, rain, typhoons, flash-floods, lightning, hurricanes, snow, sleet, hail, you get the idea. Her body automatically adjusts itself to the surrounding temperature and she can use herself as a lightning rod to channel lightning through her body. Her greatest weakness is an intense claustrophobia, which she developed as a child, while she was buried in her collapsed home following the air raid that killed her parents. She is also an excellent thief and lockpicker, talents learned during her childhood as an orphan thief in Cairo under the tutelage of Achmed El-Gibar. Sunfire Real Name: Shiro Yoshida Height: 5’10” Weight: 175 lbs. Hair color: Black Eyes: Brown Current Status: working for Mr. Sinister Nationality: Japanese Powers: ionize matter to transform it into a plasma state, dissipating solids and liquids and turning gases into nuclear-charged solar fire which he can use as pyrotechnic blasts or to create thermal updrafts for flight, infrared vision allows him to view his surroundings as heat signatures, can augment his powers by absorbing sunlight or electromagnetic energies, personal psionic field shields him from his own radiation emissions and a certain degree of physical impact. Sunfire can absorb solar energy, which he uses to fly and to ionize matter, usually air, to create plasma blasts. Technically, he has the power of a thermonuclear bomb. As Famine, Shiro created a light pattern that stimulates the optic nerve and makes the brain believe the body is starving. He appears to have retained the rest of his original abilities as well. Wolverine Real Name: James Howlett Height: 5’3” Weight: 295 lbs. Hair color: Black Eyes: Brown Current Status: X-Men, New Avengers, "ten places at once" Nationality: Canadian Powers: enhanced strength, speed, agility, stamina, and reflexes, hyper-keen senses, healing factor, adamantium skeleton and retractable claws. Wolverine has a healing factor that can heal virtually any wound or disease, and also slows his aging. He also has retractable bone claws that extrude from his forearms. His bones and claws are bonded with adamantium, rendering them unbreakable. Finally, Wolverine has enhanced senses or sight, smell, hearing, taste and touch. He can file scents in his memory and use them to track other beings from even the slightest traces, and can see and hear things much fainter and from much farther away than normal people. And he's the best there is at what he does. Warned ya!

Let's see how many feathers this will ruffle... all in good fun! I choose to remove M from the team.
M has too many names and too many different powers. Did Marvel lose the creative gene with her? All of her powers are similar to that of other x-men anyway. Plus... and here is the all in good fun part... she's pregnant, which serves as a huge liability on the battlefield. Let's sit her till after her term is over for the sake of the child!

I would like to drop Omega Sentinel out of this team
She's little too powerful I think.. And for sure, i don't like this character. She may be a threat for her team if she got mad at the battle because of her unknown stength and abilities. (I maybe wrong...)

I choose to remove Northstar, he shouldn't be an x-men, he does not have any power that another x-men does not already have, i dont like him as a character, there is only room for 1 canadian on the team, he he. Plus he would be better paired up with his sis, they are more powerful together. see ya Northstar

Psylocke Real Name: Elizabeth Gloriana "Betsy" Braddock Height: 5‘ 11“ Weight: 155 lbs.

Let's clip the wings of Warren Kenneth Worthington III - Angel. With all the telepathy and telekinesis of several other team members, who can use their powers to levitate or "fly", Angel seems redundant and less useful.
Please remove Angel next.

With the elimination of M (Algerian black female) and Omega Sentinel (Indian female), and Northstar (white, male, Canadian and gay), and Angel (rich white American pretty-boy) I'm a little concerned about maintaining gender, racial and national diversity. THat also leaves us with 3 telepaths, 3 time-travelers and 5 members of the Summers family.
In the interest of eliminating redundancies while preserving diversity alone I say we should eliminate Cable. In addition to being just one more 1) caucasian, 2) American, 3) male, 4) telepath, and 5) Summers, Cable has recently lost his powers, replaced them with tech (which was at least partly reliant on another mutant named Black Box) and then apparently died fighting Gambit and Sunfire and destroying the remains of his artificial island. Even ignoring recent continuity, Cable is more of a solo act. His involvement in any team is usually dependent on two factors: the team must serve his agenda and he has to be in charge (Clan Chosen, Six Pack, X-Force). His membership in any group where these two conditions are not met (X-Men) is usually very temporary.
This brings us to 18 characters remaining with a female:male ratio of 8:10. Racial mix: 12 are white, one is black, 3 are Asian, 2 have blue fur. Ethnicity: 11 (including Storm) were born in the US. 3 are European (Nightcrawler, Psylocke and Quicksilver). 2 are from alternate futures (Marvel Girl, Nocturne). One is from Asia (Sunfire). Wolverine is still a Canadian. Cliques: 4 are members of the "Summers Clan" (Cyclops, Havoc, Marvel Girl and Phoenix). 3 are original X-Men (Cyclops, Iceman and Phoenix). 3 have never been X-Men before (Multiple Man, Nocturne, Quicksilver). One isn't a mutants (Juggernaut).

I choose to remove cyclops, he has a blast which emits from his eyes and has proven himself as a leader, not much to him. Although i enjoy the fights between him and wolvie, he doesn't need to be on the team for that kind of stuff to happen since cyclops is headmaster. this also helps the diversity thing
Here is who is left: Cannonball Real Name: Samuel Zachery (Jackson?) Guthrie Height: 6' Weight: 150 lbs Hair color: Blond Eyes: Blue Current Status: X-Men Nationality: American Powers: generate thermochemical energy as a blast field, which can act as propulsion, bio-kinetic blasts, a protective force shield, and a containment field around his opponent, or absorb kinetic energy to create shockwaves or supercharge the force behind his punches. Cannonball is also supposedly an External, an immortal mutant,
Phoenix Real Name: Jean Grey-Summers Height: 5‘ 6“ Weight: 115 lbs.

Well, currently we have 2 obvious redundancies: Jean Grey & Marvel Girl and Nightcrawler & Nocturne.
I'll solve one of them. You may not agree with this but, I choose to remove Jean Grey-Summers from the team. Her life and powers are too unstable and unpredictable, not to mention too powerful. Plus she can be a distraction and vulnerability for Wolverine.

Ok then I like Nocturne to be removed, because we have already one with blue fur (Nightcrawler) and he is more useful to the team bacause he is a teleporter. I think Wolverine is going to be in the team so he and Kurt are good to have in same team, they have been fighting for a long time together and they know how to do it So there is one functional pair in the team then.

I choose to remove Sunfire, Rogue still has his powers and as far as personality , i dont feel he has any, jubs asian, so we still have an asian, trying to keep diversity. I almost want to remove storm, but I remember the good times in the past, currently im not feeling her though. ok so i removed Sunfire.
From now on when you choose someone to be removed, someone has to second your chioce for the removal to happen. If you see a request to remove someone and you disagree, post your reasons, have fun and be nice ;D We are under 15
Here is who is left: Cannonball Real Name: Samuel Zachery (Jackson?) Guthrie Height: 6' Weight: 150 lbs Hair color: Blond Eyes: Blue Current Status: X-Men Nationality: American Powers: generate thermochemical energy as a blast field, which can act as propulsion, bio-kinetic blasts, a protective force shield, and a containment field around his opponent, or absorb kinetic energy to create shockwaves or supercharge the force behind his punches. Cannonball is also supposedly an External, an immortal mutant,
Havok Real Name: Alexander Summers Height: 6'0" Weight: 175 lbs.
Psylocke Real Name: Elizabeth Gloriana "Betsy" Braddock Height: 5‘ 11“ Weight: 155 lbs. I like the way you're running this! One question: how many members do you think we need for our X-team?
We're down to 14 candidates. Present female:male ratio of 6:8. Racial mix: 10 are white, one is black, 2 are Asian, one has blue fur. Ethnicity: 9 (including Storm) were born in the US. 3 are European (Nightcrawler, Psylocke and Quicksilver). 1 is from alternate futures (Marvel Girl). And Wolverine is still a Canadian. Cliques: 2 are members of the "Summers Clan" (Havoc, Marvel Girl). 1 is an original X-Men (Iceman). 2 have never been X-Men before (Multiple Man, Quicksilver). One isn't a mutants (Juggernaut). 4 have been X-Men team field leaders (Storm, Nightcrawler, Havoc, Rogue)
We're coming into the home stretch here, and I've noticed some patterns emerging among the characters we've kept so far, and not surprisingly they all have to do with Wolverine. Logan either has a strong connection to most of the reamining characters, or he gets along with them pretty well.
Cannonball: while no connection existed during Sam's New Mutants or X-Factor days, it was clear that he looked up to - and was being mentored by - Wolverine once he joined the X-Men. Wolverine even let him look after his Harley). And it was Sam who helped fight to save Wolverine from Genesis in Wolverine #100. Taught by Cable and Pete Wisdom, Sam has a firm grasp of military and black-ops strategy and tactics and could well become his generation's "Cyclops."
Havoc: the Summers brother Logan actually likes! Everything that makes Alex different from Scott is what Logan likes about him. They shared an adventure together in Havoc & Wolverine: Meltdown.
Iceman: no strong connection between Bobby and Logan, but before he left the team (after OperationL Zero Tolerance) Wolverine let Iceman know that he respects him. Not having been prejudiced by Bobby's "youngest X-Man" status like the original team, Logan is better able to judge him by his present actions.
Jubilee: "Lifeline." "Partner." "Surrogate daughter." All terms Wolverine has used to describe the youngest X-Man. He never found her "annoying." He never thought she had a "wimpy" power. There's not another character in the Marvel universe more loyal to Wolverine than her. She's been a part of every Wolverine Rescue Squad. She can pull him out of a full-on berserker rage. She's the one he couldn't harm - even as "Death." He's 110 and his adventures have been chronicled for the last three decades, and in all that time he's only admitted he "needed" one other person. And yeah, it was Jubilee (GenX #6).
Juggernaut: no strong connection between Cain and Logan. But both men are plain-spoken tough-guys with a sordid past who are trying to do the right thing. Neither man has any qualms about doing whatever is necessary. Both are "old men" compared to the rest (Cain is older than Xavier). I could easily see these two having a beer together (and enjoying the ensuing bar fight).
Marvel Girl: in her own time she was arguably closer to "Col. Logan" than she was to her dead father. (There was even a rumor once that Logan was her father, but Marvel denies this). When Scott's choice of Emma over Jean led Rachel to feel betrayed (by Scott, who apparently abandoned Rachel's "mother") she turned to Logan as a father figure.
Multiple Man: no real connection.
Nightcrawler: Wolverine's best friend. Both joined the X-Men at the same time and soon became close. Despite apparent overwhelming diferences they get along well. (Both men like good beer). Logan was apparenly mentoring the younger mutant (Kurt was 20 when he joined) while Kurt acts as a moral compass for Wolverine. They have teamed together on several solo adventures.
Shadowcat: another young girl often called Logan's "surrogate daughter" (though he never referred to her as such). Like Jubilee, she's a frequent member of the "Wolverine Rescue Squad." She shared an early, life-changing adventure with Logan (the Wolverine and Kitty Pryde LS) after which he became a mentor to her. However there are some curious differences between her relationship with Wolverine and Jubilee's (mostly attributable to Claremont). For example: Kitty has been known to collect Wolverine's broken bone claws, sometimes using them as weapons. In Wolverine #125-26 Claremont makes a point of saying (twice) that Logan's intent to marry Viper "broke her heart." She even went so far as to propose to him to try and prevent the wedding! And, in God Loves, Man Kills II, Logan could somehow "sense" that Kitty was in danger even though she was nowhere around.
Psylocke: Even before she became "nimbo" Betsy, Logan was watching out for her. Her original pink costume was a suit of body armour he bought for her from Landau, Luckman and Lake. Despite trying to kill him as a brainwashed Lady Mandarin, Logan was the first to give her the benefit of the doubt as they continued their search for the remaining X-Men. Due to her telepathic attack in that fight she shared his psychosis for a time. When she was nearly killed by Sabertooth, Logan helped save her life with the mystic power of the Crimson Dawn. When she was "killed" by Vargas (she "got better") he drank to her memory as a fallen comrade and kindred spirit.
Quicksilver: no real connection.
Rogue: shares a "loose cannon" reputation with Wolverine. He was among the first to accept her after her defection from Mystiques Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Prior to her first expereince as a team leader, Logan alleviated her self-doubts by tested her to prove to her that she was capable. When her powers became altered to the point that she could manifest any mutant trait she had ever absorbed she often used his bone claws. Among the millions of personalities in her head constantly struggling to submerge her own identity there's a "Logan" inside her constantly encouraging her to fight against them.
Storm: there's no one Logan respects and admires more than Ororo. They joined the X-Men at the same time. Despite her initial animosity toward him she came to respect and like him once she got past her first impression of the "crude, rude little man." When she lost her powers he stood by her in her bid for leadership of the team against Cyclops. When he lost his adamantium and then began his first feral regression she helped him cope. In this universe Logan soon realized (with a twinge of lasting regret to this day) that he "never had a chance with her." Despite this they married and had a daughter in at least one alternate future (Secert Wars), and in another (X-Men: The End) Logan left the X-Men to move with Ororo to Africa and care for her after she was paralyzed.
On the basis of this alone, I nominate Quicksilver as the next to be eliminated. He not only has no connection to Wolverine, he has no connection to anyone else left on the list except Madrox! He's got an abrasive personality, he's not a team player, and he's never even been an X-Man. And he's partly responsible for the House of M and Decimation. I feel that any advantage of having a speedster on the team is outweighed by his lack of any personal connection, and possible animosity toward him.
Can I get a second on eliminating Quicksilver?

Mega I will support you, lets remove Quicksilver, I have no idea why he has made it this far, the only time i can remember liking Quicksilver is in Wolverine #75 where they are going down in the blackbird, its falling apart and if i remember right he was at the controls using his super speed to activate safety procedures and man the plan, man i miss good dramatic stories like that one.
